Well done to North and Haddin on their maiden Ashes centuries. Great to see 4 centuries in an innings. Makes Englands batting look pretty bad, their application once in was terrible.

Another 74 runs, I want to see our highest Test total against the mother country.

Good to see the guys batting for the side not themselves.

Good declaration i think by Punter, only one team that can win this one ;) .

Great knock by haddin and north. Good last couple of hours on day 4 to watch.

In unlucky news for the Australians the great hope of the coveted All rounder spot is now well open after Shane Watson did his hamstring running the drinks out to North and Haddin. ;)

So does everyone still think Hauritz was terrible with the ball in the first innings. He took 3/95 and Swann and Panesar took 1/250 between them when the pitch is doing more. Maybe people should pay credit where it is due and admit he has so far played his role well. Now he needs to be able to take some wickets in the second innings to help us get over the line with a win.

hopefully he wont get a bowl this innigs. get the three quicks to bounce these poms, scare the absolute sh** out of them with some short balls...not that its a quick pitch or anything but still they will be jumping. will be interesting to see how ravi and kp react after there dismissals especially if they lose early wickets.

And hauritz has bowled well so far this test and hopefully he backs it up

This is just poetry, I heard the score in the car, couldn't believe it. Aussie domination. Lets knock these fools over and record a historic win.

hilfenhaus had strauss plum (well given leg byes) but was a no ball. it was hit by strauss.

next ball the hilf gets ravi for 1 off 3 balls LBW. just going over the top by hawkeye.

This umpire does struggle i think, billy doctrove is it? he was the one that missed the KP's lbw appeal in the first innings aswell.

I dont think it was very poor, just going over the top, so shoulda been not out, but it wasnt like ala Martyns decisions in the 05 ashes
