u idiot!

 :? Why? I havent been proven wrong yet.

even from here, i cant see the Aussies winning.

You cant be serious.

If we bat all day 3 the test is over.

We saw history last night gentleman. The greatest test hundred ever made at cardiff by Ricky Ponting. Once he got to 25 you knew he was in for a big score.

It will not be beaten for a long time IMHO.

Would not be too hard would it?

Pretty ordinary dismissal from Hussey. He'd have to be dissapointed with that.

He'd be dissapointed with the way he got out. Sometimes you get out due to good bowling and whilst you are dissapointed at the result you aren't necessarily dissapointed with yourself. Hussey will be dissapointed with himself.

Damn!! I was hoping Punter would break Border's runs record today. We need to re-group of we could find ourselves in deep trouble here. The last half hour has been all England.

The commentators just said we haven't seen the best of Stuart Broad in this Test match. For England's sake I would hope that's true :)

The frightening thing for England is Nasser said we have not Quite seen the best of him in this test. If he only has a little bit of improvement then he will not trouble this Australian side. I have seen a bit off him in the last 18 months and he is just a good average bowler, nothing a decent test line up would be too worried about.

FD88 wrote:Looking at the dismissals, a lot of them were soft. Doesn't look like the sort of pitch you collapse pathetically on, even if it is taking a bit of spin. The pommy commentators themselves thought 400 or so was a par score. I just have a feeling we've done a lot better here than we think we have. Bundle them out for <370 and we should be able to go into the second innings with a lead. Should being the key word.

Pity we conceded that extra 50 or so runs from loose bowling in the end but very happy I wasn't imagining things! The win is still on if we're disciplined and aggressive enough.
