Not quite sure what your post means Peter. Theres a 5 man bench there so 2 will miss out. So 'if selected' makes sense to me.

Pseudo - I cant remember Scotty being reported. He may have, but I cant recall one.

in claytons case would 'his antics' cause any disharmony in the team ? if the answer is yes he should go if the answer is no he should go & have more anger management sessions....perhaps winning the magarey medal was the worse thing to happen to him because since that time he has had flare up after flare up

Fair call bayman. I guess that IMHO Clayton is a good enough player to be persisted with. He probably needs to pull his head in but to say the club is better off without their best player (and by a mile their best player) is a bit silly. Put it this way, if Pavlich started belting people do you think the Dockers would get rid of him or would they do whatever they could to help him stop doing that?

Port have tried helping him in every way don't worry about that but it hasn't helped.

There is the difference.

Your point re. their value are spot on, but I'm not sure you aren't comparing apples to oranges. Not many people were brave enough to take on Scott Hodges, can't say the same about JC.

I've thought for a long time that to make him Captain might bring out the best of him as a player and a person.

I would have thought the club would have spoken to him about leadership and the fact that the kids coming through would look up to him, but that hasnt made any difference.
Making him captain would be a terrible idea in my opinion.

South to register their first win since round 1. Two goal win.

Shame to hear about young McKernan. Season over for him. Big loss for South (assuming his games with the crows were limited of course).

Yep, pity about McKernan going down, he did show that he has the makings of a good footballer, it shows how much potential one has when they are blended with a good team.
