Surprised that "Lover, You shouldve come over" was so much higher than Grace. How high will "Last Goodbye" be? (Top 20 I guess)

I doubt Shivers will make it. The Boys Next Door are pretty much a forgotten thing. A couple of years back I had a conversation with a very high profile Triple J presenter and she had no idea who The Boys Next Door or The Birthday Party were.

That would be telling *cough* Caroline Tran *cough*.

She was interviewing a mate's band here in St Kilda and we were talking about the Crystal Ballroom - just down the road - being the hub of Aussie Punk and talking about The BND and she was unaware Nick Cave had been in a band previously. Okay she was young at the time (if in fact she was born) but wouldn't you know something about if you worked on radio???

Obviously not hired for her vast knowledge of Aussie music. Ironic that she has then gone onto host 'Home and Hosed', an hourly slot dedicated to Australian music.

Well she knows about them now! I explained it all  Mind you looking at the Top 100 of all time so far a knowledge of Australian music at Triple J could be a bad thing. ;)

In the Herald Sun daily quiz recently one of the questions was "Who wrote the song Shivers". Naturally I said Rowland S.Howard, to be told No! It was Nick Cave AND The Bad Seeds ~x(
