Ferret - yes the mugging on the western side was just dumb and the player will get done (even the Gowans would get a 50 cents fine- thats how bad it was). The value of the sniper must be questioned - matchwinner on his day (including recent games) but worth nothing when he is getting splinters due to suspension. Given the apparant very high salary he commands he is now not worth it. Ferret this will give the squealers something to squeal about.

I really don't see the point in making the comment re the Gowans twins, but anyway, back onto the point at hand

I think the thing that is most dissapointing from Jeremy's perspective is that on the Thursday Night League Teams Show, he told everyone how recently having his first child has made him look at life in a differebt perspective and to assess where he is at in terms of his on-field indescretions and the effects they have on the rest of the side.

He says something like this and then no more than 48 hours later, comes out and does exactly what he said he doesn't want to do. The guy clearly has self-discipline issues and it must be frustrating for the Port Magpies Football Club and all the players he plays with. I think the more he gets in these situations and finds himself suspended, the gloss on how good a player he really is, slowly washes away.

Jarrad said after the game that he was punched in the face...

the game was filmed as is all games....

must be on film for him to be cited....

No, clearly he hasn't Dutchy, you would know the tribunal hearing isn't until tonight, but everyone knows his reputation, and of course he is innocent until proven guilty but like I said, he wasn't reported by the field umpire at the time so would have been cited on video evidence and surely there is enough evidence to prove it was him. :?

You don't need to be a rocket scientist to work out how Luke Jarrad got the busted nose and he elaborated on the incident without naming names on the 5AA SANFL show Sunday night. So, it is clear that Clayton hit him, so accordingly, I pointed out the fact he went against what he said he wasn't going to do anymore, pretty straight forward one would have thought

A 25 cent fine would be more appropriate, then the point would have been clear. ;) Anyway, as you said, the issue atm, I did not see either, and never heard about it either until here. But as you can see on here Booney, something did happen and I'm sure those that have commented did see it themselves. However, it is best to wait for the hearing if anything.

We used to 10 pin bowl together many years ago in a team called "The Drunks".He was the anchor bowler and a great eagles fan /man from many years back.

I've heard many a yarn over the last few seasons about his old bowling team The Drunks. We must catch up at Woodville one day as I don't beleive I've had the pleasure of meeting you yet Mickyj.

No worries EHL. I'm always at Eagles games and if Cooky can remember what he did in the team ;) he's telling the truth .Me on the other hand I watch the lad get much higher scores than I did but we didnt have finger tip bowling in the old days ;)

Also, if Port does not make the 5, this will definitely be the first season where the Eagles have had an undefeated record against Port! Yes, it's true:

A great game of SANFL Footy, one of the best I have seen over the past 5 years. To have over 3000 people there was really a good achievement for our Club. Port can draw a crowd, no doubt about it.

But, there was heaps of stuff going on at the ground. The place was heaving and so was the club after.

I would love to know the exact number of fans there Sunday as we got in the ground at 9.30 am and the AMMI jacket clad lady just let us in without clicking our tickets .

In one breath you say he is innocent until proven guilty and in another you say it is clear that Clayton hit him

Which one is it? Guilty or Not Guilty?

Or maybe thats why there is a hearing tonight?

On your theory they should just text him how many games he got :?

Another win next time will make it official (as per the guidelines set out back in the FootySA days). ;) Apparently there were 3042 spectators on Sunday; I thought it was looked around 3,200-3,300 myself.
