Long live SANFL!

Quiet day in sporting world then........but good to see the SANFL getting some exposure even if it is at Trevor Hills expense.

Or perhaps the return of Norwood's favourite son?

I'd give him another crack

Presumably if he resigned, he wasn't paid anything.

While there are plenty of highly credentialled prospects out there, I know a few Norwood fans who wonder what could have happened if Dale Lewis hadn't departed at the end of 2005.

Only Round 14 of the season and Norwood have already put their season in Cotton wool.

More like "steel wool"! What chance him getting the gig next season? IMO zero, zilch, none.

I was implying that along with Rick Macgowan last year, Daniel Healy this year and now Jarrod Cotton, there is another former Centrals flavour in the league coaching ranks...

I think Jarrod Cotton has a fair chance of coaching Norwood permanently.
All he has to do is sneak us into the finals and pinch the flag.
He's got the job then.

I think Nathan Bassett would be a walk up start but also heard we are talking to.............

Personally I would love to see Robbie Neil in charge. Very impressive man and knows his football IMHO.

Cotton has the job as interim coach for the remainder of the season.
FWIW I cant see him or Bassett being coach next year for the league team.

Interesting bringing a caretaker coach into those ranks...how many flags was Cotton involved in at the Dogs?

None. He left Centrals to play for Norwood because he wanted to win Premierships. Hopefully his coaching decisions are better.
