I brought forward a downgrade on Alex Rance which meant taking a punt on Jarrod Silvester. Rance is only meant to be bench cover and has proved to be a low scorer anyway.

I also upgraded Ziebell finally so I'm left with just the one donut this week for Dean Cox.

If it wasn't a top of the table game I might have taken in 2 donuts but I had at least 1 more downgrade to do anyway so may as well be Rance. I still have enough trades left for 2 more before the finals and enough cash so that I don't need to double trade to do 1 more upgrade. So that's 2 in 4 weeks however I have a soft draw after this except for a tough match in round 17.

Geez Quichy, I'd personally move on Gia if you have 4 donuts! I am also holding Cox and Pav but 6 weeks out of last 9 is a lot of faith to put on him. There's some good options at his price or lower - I know because I've spent all week looking at them!

Well if I wasn't playing Punky, I'm sure I would have made a couple of trades. Deledio in, Gia out was my thinking, still may do it just yet.

In my other league I'm undefeated, but that is sure to change when I play the number two :(

Rance being dropped was a pain because I'd hatched what I thought was this great plan to do 2 upgrades with my spare cash and get all my rookies off the field.

But maybe now it's a good thing because by using 1 extra trade I can get 2 gun premium players instead of the 2 riskier cheaper options I was looking at.

At least with Gia not playing he holds his price so you can keep your options open if you want to.

What time do they release the final teams for Sunday? 4.30/5.00pm today?

Ive got Wojinski, Malceski & Power all on extended benches some decisions need to be made!

REB have you got a tough match in another league? I see you've brought in a 3rd good ruckman.

Gotta keep tabs on your opposition ;)

Brought in the third ruckman last week when Cox went down. I've got a very tough run home in Hogg Premier and have been hurt by finals donuts in the Ruck division in previous years.

A brilliant strategy Dutchy. Looking at your side he seems the obvious choice. My Mrs doesn't have Ablett so you're off to a good start.

Good thing Smac wont have 21 people play he has had 11 scoring players so far and 9 have 100 or more and his lowest score is 77  . Hopefully i can just get over the line against him.

I can't beat anyone in REB's immediate family!

Franklin, J Brown and B Harvey scored 103 between them so I lost my advantage of S Johnson being a late withdrawal in her team.

If Ablett has scored his average as captain I would have been only 30 short. Oh well, I'm over all the toughest opponents bar the Cobras later in the year so hopefully I can hold my top 4 spot. The Ablett factor not an advantage this week.

My single worst trade decision all season was picking Franklin instead of O'Keefe 5 weeks or so ago. He's been a disaster.

Just got over the line against Smac even though he had 15 players score and no captain thank god for that. Hopefully i can string a few wins together and sneak into the finals.

With the late withdrawal of Steve Johnson I ended up with five donuts, thought I was set for a disaster score only to logon and see 1992 up there.

Greg Broughton, what a gun. Would surely have to get the rising star nomination this week!

2252 with two donuts. I'll have a fair side once Pav, Rioli and Johnson return. Three out of three for me this week. Yep Hondo, watch out for the cobras I rate that side.
