I hope thats the team. To me I like the look of that side, nice and solid!.
North to play as the main spinner, with support from Katich and Clarke!

Australia's top six will have few fears entering Wednesday's tour game in Worcester after Shane Watson was limited to walking around the ground during Monday's session at New Road. The allrounder Watson is the squad's spare batsman and is recovering from a minor thigh injury that ruled him out of the opening warm-up in Hove last week and will sideline him again for the final fixture before the Ashes.

I still think my side is looking good after North failed again in the tour match. I think they want to play Lee because the selectors, ponting and nielsen love him.

I think the poms would go in with a similar side with:

Strauss
Cook
Bopara
Pietersen
Collingwood
Flintoff
Prior
Swann
Broad
Onions
Anderson

I think we may go head to head with the them wit the bowling, having the four quicks and a spinner. Flintoff is no where near a number 6 batsman, and Johnson is more capable to score runs IMO.

Bring on the Ashes.

No way we should be batting Haddin at 6 and Johnson at 7. Leaves our batting very brittle, either North or Watson have to play IMO and given Watson's injury worries it has to be North. No Hauritz for me is the way go, is not a Test Match Bowler and that is pretty obvious IMO.

Spot on as usual Pup. Horrie is rank and should be left to the one dayers. Recently I called Hussey and now he has scored a 150. So I'd just like to say that Punter is finished, Pup (the cricketer) needs to spend more time at the crease that doesn't have blonde hairs on it and North is an absolute spud. That is all.

Siddle for Horrie. That's the team.

KP V AUSTRALIA ASHES 2009

AU must play 4 quicks
LEE/SIDDLE/CLARK/JOHNSON
We must have these guys bowl at KPs ribcage

IF given a diet of Hauritz/Mcdonald/North/Pup KP will feast

If we can manage to keep KP to an average of 40 or below we can win the series

good call.....with that in mind

Katich
Hughes
Ponting
M.Hussey
M.Clarke
North
Haddin
Johnson
Lee
Siddle
S.Clarke

12th Hilfenhaus

Despite this..............if I was a betting man I'd say Hauritz will play in the 1st Test with S.Clarke left out. No point in having a spinner on tour if you don't play him on a turning track. Haurtiz is no test match spinner tho and KP will eat him alive.

Brett Lee out for 2 Tests and in doubt for the whole series with a abdominal tear..

Looks like Hauritz will play. Bonus for England.

McDonald or Hilfenhaus any chance? I would think it's highly unlikely given the wicket is supposed to be a turner but you never know.

Brett Lee is a big out. England would have been extremely pleased when they got wind of this...

Now Hauritz will play and KP will eat him alive.
