Some observations regarding the Bays lineup this week.

Duldig didn't get promoted for Sellar.
Chris Kane returns in the ressies after suspension.
Justin McConnell, despite getting plenty of the ball in the last few weeks in the ressies, has not been promoted.

Read into it what you will but I'm pleased with the way the selectors have gone about their business this year and it also reinforces the depth at the club, although I'm mindful that the Bays have had a very good run with injuries this year.

Chris Kane was probably on the verge of being dropped before his suspension, so he will now have to force his way back into the team, which I think may be a big ask for him at the moment.

Macca, although suffering from leather poisoning the last few weeks, will be unlikely to feature in the league side for the rest of the season IMO. In fact, it wouldn't surprise me if he is lost to the club after this year. A discussion about him in this forum over 2 months back made me start posting on this site. My views haven't changed unfortunately.

Matt Duldig is an interesting one ... leading goalkicker when dropped to the ressies to make way for Kirk a few weeks back, Daniel's form has been such that he's cemented his spot down back and with the forwards gelling in the last few weeks, Duldig can't force his way back in. As a fringe player I thought he had cemented his spot earlier this year so I'll watch his future with interest.

Anyway, my thoughts ... I'm sure some of the Louts will have their own opinions.

dedja - i think your views re - macca could be correct - he may not hang around.
Duldig will probably play the year out in the 2's and he would most likley stay, but its very hard to see him getting into the league in the future, he needs to get his goal-kicking down to an art form. Im not a huge fan of his, but he is working a lot harder off the ball then he has in the past

Mickan is a disciplanarian . No Duldig or Mconnell in the best 21 make of that what you will. But finally Mconnell has beeen found out for what he truly is and all the Bay fans loved him. Waving at the the Snouts ( arent they an interesting mob with their constant phone calls to Marketing at Glenleg, I digress) when all is going well . Work hard to get back in Justin . Oops . ;)

Didn't answer my question ? What team do you support ? And no I've never rung the Marketing department and yes I do associate with the Snouts and sponsorship of Macca.

Can't you read you ? I said I am part of the sponsorship syndicate of Macca. To spell it out, it generally means I like the player that I help sponsor. Yes he's not playing, yes we understand why not, and good on Rubbers for having his reasons. I'm sure Macca can work through them.

And you still haven't said what club you support.

Ease up champ. You starting to change directions. I can read ,how about you ? Your all over the shop mate , no one said you rang marketing ? Dont get so hung up on it , what are you concerned about ? Good for you sponsoring a player , well done. I never spoke about player sponsorship ... but if it makes you feel good telling us then well done. Who cares who I follow anyway what has that got to do with Mickan being tough on discipline.

If you're that ashamed of who you follow as to not post it that's fine.

So who were you referring to as the "mob" then.

Mate, I've read your posts 3 times and I still don't know what you're on about.

Just out of interest, how many times have you seen McConnell or Duldig play? ... including watching the ressies in the last 6 weeks?

Asking who you follow is a reasonable question i would have thought ... or are you afraid to admit?
