Agreed, the Crows wouldnt want to disrupt a winning team and with Moran now out surely he'd be a monty for at least another week.

That's what I'm thinking. If Moran wasn't injured, then there would have been a strong chance of him being dropped. But Moran's injury has most likely saved him for this week at least.

I think that his promotion to the Crows has affected the team balance of Norwood. Their midfield seems to get a fair bit of teh ball but with no Walker they don't seem to convert possessions into goals as easily this year. (from what I've seen on telly anyway)

I think that highlights a fair quality in the young lad ... As a team we are (and have been for years) woeful at speedy, quality delivery to our forwards, and many up the front have suffered as a result ... Walker has shown the ability to win his own ball and be a threat regardless of how the ball comes in.

I saw Norwood (on TV) a few times last year and was amazed at his ability to find space and get possessions without a close defender. This helped the deliverer of the ball I think. I note that he can even do it sometimes at AFL level but it is rarer because defenders are very disiplined there and also usually out-number forwards!

Yeah it probably did help the deliverer, through a greater margin for error on the kick

and also having a proven go-to forward takes the pressure off a mid-field I reckon.

Taylor Walker has been dropped by the Crows, John Reid said on 5AA tonight he will line up for Norwood this weekend.

The Legs will also be boosted by Nick Lower, who has been dropped from the Power side as well.

I think Norwood are a realistic chance of causing an upset now. Walker is a proven goalkicker at SANFL level and Lower is a proven ball winner at this level.

This will test the mindset of young Taylor Walker, does he now believe he is to good for this competition and prance around, or will he knuckle down and try to perform his way back into the Crows line-up.

This is now well and truly a danger game for the Dogs as the inclusions for Norwood will give their players a much needed confidence boost IMHO.

For the Dogs im extremley glad Thomas is back we have been missing his pace around stoppages and from the half back flank, while Goodrem will add even more flexibilty to the line-up, i really like Goodrem when his playing in the forward line, he has that knack of being able to kick goals with limited possesions.

Ahhh Big Phil my apologies, didn't realise Norwood edited their team.

I cannot believe Kite was going to be dropped.

Can someone explain to me what Kite did to deserve being dropped in the first place????? He was miles away from being our worst last week.

Obviously Kite is one of those that doesn't want to play for the Redlegs and is out of form - yeh, right. Keith Thomas' email was so encouraging, then we drop Kite and keep blokes like Massie and Jericho in the team - Massie's 'injury' at least righted one of those wrongs, but seriously, that email was nothing but words.

Let's just reappoint Trevor Hill now, it seems like the club yet again has shirked the hard issue, so sign up Trevor and at least us long suffering Norwood fans don't have to worry about the future - we know we'll be a laughing stock.

I'm just so frustrated by Norwood at the moment.

Tex - kick 10 mate, we all need something to cheer and life was a lot rosier last time you were around.

Granted the last game I only saw on the box, but I don't understand all the fuss ... As much as I like Kitey I don't think he's been near his best form (although obviously he's not alone in that department) this year.

Given that we just got over the line last time this game now looks to be a tough one. I hope the doggies turn up to play. It will be a good test.

I guess the late changes to the Redlegs side will favour the Dogs, Jackman was starting to find some form in defence, Donohue has been kicking goals and whilst Massie has his critics, he can still be a good footballer at this level when he wants to be.

At this stage, Dogs in a real tight one, Walker to kick 7 in a losing side !!

My money would be on either side under 15.5. I think Central will get beaten if they don't play markedly better than they did at Elizabeth a fortnight ago. Unless of course Norwood play as bad as North did that day. Massive danger game for the dogs. They need to not just win the rucks, but win the centre clearances. As opposed to scoring all their goals from attacks stemming from the half back line.
