Can't remember the last time I laughed so much at a movie.

Watched Changeling last night with Angelina Jolie.

Pros: Great true story with excellent scenes from the 1920's.

Clint Eastwood directing usually means class.

Cons: You do not get to see her boobs in the movie.

I thought it was fantastic but maybe not everyone's cup of tea due to its length.
Some that have seen it have told me it was too long but I could have watched it for even longer.
IMHO it was almost a cross between Forrest Gump and the Shawshank Redemption.
A warning though, take the tissues.

The missus brought this home from the video shop last night. I glanced at the back, winced at the published running time (over 2.5 hours FFS!?!) but settled down and watched it anyways.

Absolutely brilliant. Got suckered right into it from the start. First time I glanced at the clock almost an hour had gone, I was that engrossed by it.

I saw a LOT of similarity with Forrest Gump. Would also draw some parallels with The English Patient (except that sucked) and possibly even with Titanic FFS.

I don't know about needing tissues though Wedgeman. I mean, I didn't see Cate Blanchett get her norks out once...

Zac and Miri Make a Porno: 3/10

Seth Rogan is never, ever funny. All these awesome plots that sound funny that always turn into a love story.

Have a look at the guy FFS!!! He looks funny, but just isn't.

Ice Age 3.

Saw the preview yesterday at the Chelsea. A good film. The kids enjoyed it, and I had a few laughs.
Would recommend it, although I think the 3D version would be better !!

If you like Hal Hartley films, Fay Grim doesn't disappointment.

The sequel to Henry Fool.

Look forward to the next sequel.

About ten years from now...

Gran Turino

Another fan here.

Maybe Clint's most solid film as a director...

Classic 'High Concept' movie. Hollywood studio execs would've themselves when pitched this.

Has all the ingredients for a blockbuster. And maybe would've been if not for one thing:

Brangelina's complete lack of on-screen chemistry!

Angelina Jolie as a housewife is a tough sell.

Ironically, the film probably would've worked better with Jennifer Aniston as Mrs. Smith.

Still, enjoyable, light fun...
