SA Lotteries spokeswoman Rebekah Payne confirmed a winning ticket was purchased by a man identified only as being in his 40s and from the western suburbs.
He reportedly purchased a 14 game Ezi-Pick ticket costing $15.05from Lizzy's Cafe at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
