DOGS THIS WEEK JUNE 29 /JULY + GRSA

GRSA
Must say I have been impressed with the GRSA club in recent times
Proactive, innovative and making things happen
Seems to be a big push towards rewarding SABRED dogs with incentive schemes + newly formed races
Good to see youngSTARS like Manhattan Angel/ Gold enjoy the $$$$ in the classic races
Manhattan Angel reminds me of a champion greyhound of the mid eighties Thundering Two
The Gary Mellor champ won the 84 Adelaide Cup beating the mighty Vic dog Eaglehawk Star
Thundering Two was not even an open garde dog, but pinched a few classics and low grade races b4 the Cup win
GRSA is also staging the HUNNIES yummy yummy
And also a new syndicate dog for the public, more on that when it comes up

ANGLE PARK MONDAY NIGHT

R4-7 BILLS HOPE
My pet dog
2 miss namnac leads and only runs average times
3 spatz usually begins and runs wide
hopefully Billy can miss the start and avoid any crowding on the first turn
Billy is a swoopy finisher
The new finish on lure is seemingly helping Billy
Billy is up in grade but has a good late swoop and should be in the finish
EW RATIO 1 WIN x 3 PLACES

R8-1 TREAD LIGHTLY
Murrays motoring marvel
Thrives on box 1 and is a talented dog
from this lid will be very hard to beat
Might be too short to back so lets go for the exotics
Very likely to run in the finish
QUINELLA + EXACTA

The 2 tips form Monday night
BILLS HOPE
Slow out
run off the track 1st turn
found interference in the run
was blocked for runs
pulled out late and ran on for a nice blackbooking 2nd
Itsa pity the 3 was scratched as I had expected it to disorganise the field on the first turn
It was a NTD race and no bet

TREAD LIGHTLY
Was scratched

Frustrating to put the work in , only to have dogs scratched in both those races

GAWLER 30/6/09
Bank+$3-30 in 2009 for $2 unit bets

R1-1 SATANIC JEWEL
Dead set fence dog performer
average field, has a hope of winning
should be in the finish as weill make ground
did run 3rd to BILLS HOPE 2 starts ago
EW 1X1

R2-7 WANDY QUEEN
Very unlucky 2nd 2 weeks ago on debut maiden run
Good trainer Giniotis, drew wide last run
On that run one to follow
[1][6] are both first race start dogs
That puts doubt into the race
There are 7 runners with NTD, but will back this pup EW
EW 1X1

R7-8 GOLD
Zooperdooper star pup drawn well and up against older dogs this time
The Paul Barry superpup should win
Not a declared bet, but trust it rather than risk it today

R9-4 BLOSSOM STAR
Is quoted $14 in todays paper and really should not win this race
Is up in grade and will be big odds
In its favour is this dog is a real trier and will be blossoming home very very late
Very rough Place hope in a difficult race
PLACE 0X2

R11-4 LONG GULLY BLUE
[3] SERGIO MCLAREN [7] DAKOTA DRIVE are big hopes to lead or almost lead and win
LONG GULLY BLUE is a good Place bet as has a tremendous will to chase
Desperate railer who accelerates swiftly off the back
If the other 2 dont get a break LGB might roundem up
If LGB is near em he will justabout win
But likely to get back and swoop toooooo late
EW RATIO 1X3

Gunna punt today as there is enough evidence from Trainers to say that the diff lures APK/GAW should not make too much difference

I live like 30 seconds from Gawler track and it is BUCKETING down with a gale force wind behind it.

Saturdays meeting was a DISGRACE the track on the inside was QUICK SAND with most dogs getting bogged down hence 5 dogs from box 8 winning and 1 from box 6.
Outside boxes are the pick for today i would suggest.

Dogs exiting boxes 6-7-8 have an advantage as the going is so much better out wide. Once on the rail the dog loses many lengths out of the boxes.

Inside looks fine to me.
Bolter rails up before the corner to win the first. Middle of the track looked off if anything.
