Not sure about this issue, its one thing to kick him out of the club, yet he was the President for how many years, and why would he make up a story that the club had made x number of payouts to people over those issues?
Despite what we all want to believe and the issue of the "moral high ground", how many clubs and organisations really have not made these types of payouts to people and settled outside of court over issues that may or may not have happened? When the issue occured of Dean Brogan being involved at the airport, it was mentioned that it was not unusual historically for "issues" along those lines to have to be dealt with by the club on a Monday Morning.
Resultantly I am surprised at the action taken of banning him from the club. Banning him from the club suggests that the club is in fact clean as a whistle and that nothing has ever taken place like that. - I am just not convinced at this stage.
