Just like all the other times he's been injured and out of action. Just a media beat up as well? Taking him into a Test match let alone a Test series is so stupid as he is more than likely to end up injured leaving the team a player short.

I wish the media would stop beating him up, he's getting badly hurt.

Hauritz looks like he had them on a plate, must have softening them up for the other end like Warnie used to.

As much as I'd like Hauritz to play with Hussey's form and Ponting not being in the greatest touch I think they'll go for the extra batsman in North.

That batting line up is too short. Hussey is crap and we need someone who can make runs.

Excellent news. Looking forward to that.

For what it's worth Haddin should never bat in the top 6 in Test cricket IMHO. He very handy in the lower order but he just isn't good enough to bat in the top 6.

I agree but I'm more concerned with North. He's looking a bit wobbly at this level.

Two Bowling spots are sewn up now

Tim Nielsen, the Australia coach, has described fast bowler Peter Siddle as a "lock" to partner Mitchell Johnson in the first Ashes Test

Im a bit nonplussed at the finish of this game
If what I heard on the radio is true the Captain should be quizzed ???????????

This game was called off early
18 BALLS left
45 needed by SUSSEX to win
3 wickets needed by AU to win

Why play 4 days of cricket and walk off early ?
Why not try and win the bloody game
Why not allow Hauritz to bowl out , heez taken 1/158
He might even snare the last 3 wickets and end up with 4/160 odd + get some much needed confidence

Great to hear. Lets now hope the selectors put Clark in before Lee.
