North should win in a canter.

I wouldn't discount Port at all ... if North turn up expecting a easy win (which I'm sure they won't) they'll come home very disappointed.

Port haven't been that far off the mark for most of the year ... this one will be closer than most people think.

Agreed dedja, Port have only been belted the once IMO, most other games we have not been in it but have not been thrashed either.

Port might just pinch this one, then Barto can insert his avatar into his.......spoon holder. He's a Sturt fan, he would have a huge one. ;)

Back to the game, a stat I know by memory is North lost the last game at Alberton but won the last 5 before that.
I think we've won a game at Alberton every year from 2004 onwards. Not a bad record! :D
But we were very lucky with our win there last year by memory.

They're giving Hargs a lap of honour, Im sure he'll get a great reception from both crowds, hopefully North flock to Alberton like they normally do, Port supporters there always tell me we're unrivalled in our support at Alberton. :D

Bloody Sunday game though!

Just a couple of posts by Punky saying he's had a gutful of North and he is going to jump on the Bays bandwagon..... :D ;)
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

I'm picking North as they have a pretty good record at Alberton in the last few years.

I am thinking Port may win if Miklejohn plays. If he doesnt they will struggle to get first use of the ball out of the middle.

I am wondering what sort of reaction Ackland will get from the crowd, given he played his early football at Alberton and then came back to Adelaide and put a price tag on his head which Port couldnt agree to....

I thought Claytons 60k was over the top for an SANFL player.
What about Whites 70k & Ackland 50k?
Whats Norths salary cap?
