You're a road menace CP :D

Speaking of driving, what sh!ts me are people who don't know how to use a slip lane, dawdling into them and then leave half their car sticking out.

Does this mean you're one of those Hoon type chappies???

Not sure how much more of this I can take...first someone in the SANFL forum suggests we have lorry drivers in the NFC and now Hoons...you'll be saying we have people in trade next  ;)

Cyclists who ride outside the cyclist lane for no reason. It should be legal for us to bowl these peanuts over and do society a favour by getting rid of them!

Why would you be called a bible basher ? Never seen the Nuggett singing the praises of the good Lord on this site.

i don't think it's appropriate on the site to start preaching to everyone, although sometimes i'd like to there's no point, people will always say more on here than to your face, it's natural! it'd be like pulling the beehive down and stickin it on your head!

Kids at cafes.

Pseudo: "What would you like to eat, Elder Pseudomite? Raisin toast, pancakes...."

Elder Pseudomite: "PANCAKES! PANCAKES!"

Ten bucks later, a stack of pancakes duly arrives, slathered in cream and ice-cream, a mountain of strawberries and a jug of syrup on the side.

Elder Pseudomite: "Oh I don't want those. They have too much ice-cream".

Friday night, ring through a Pizza order to a new place I haven't tried - Told they're busy and it's a 45 min wait before pickup - Fri night, I can live with that!

Bowl in exactly 45 mins after placing order, chick says "We haven't started cooking it yet, would you like to pay for it now" ... Somewhat surprised by the service and attitude I fork over the moolah ... One of the chefs scoffs, gives me a weird look and says "As you can see we're busy mate!"

Yeah thanks for that Sherlock .. FFS, I've been working all week too, my customers don't give a toss whether we've been busy, just that we meet the service we've committed to without the attitude!!

I was really hoping the Pizza would be crappola after that, but sadly it's a beauty lol

oh yeh

It's all relative...24C here at the moment which might be low to you but is hot for us (usually only about 16)...intermittent thunder etc and about 70% humidity...I believe it's about 31 in London again which is officially a heatwave.

The heat I like...it's the humidity I hate

What's the definition of a heatwave in the UK, JAS?

Here, it is 5 consecutive days where the max is 35 degrees C or more, or 3 consecutive days where the max is 40 degrees C or more.

In January, we had 6 straight days over 40, 9 straight days over 35, a max temp of 45.7 and the highest min temp (overnight) was 33.9 degrees C. Ouch!

A day at 30 degrees is classified as a heatwave in London. I can't believe some of the headlines because there is going to be 3 days of over 30. It's apparently the highest alert London has been on because of the heat. It's not even that hot. Warm yes, hot no.
