Straight from the horses mouth, he was apparently forced to resign for 'off-field antics' which is definately not suprising. Numb-nuts was at Yank on the weekend being an A-grade parasite and according to him he has landed a job for double the $$$'s at another club in the league...So long as he stays involved out there i think we will all be pretty happy

I am almost certain that AK this weekend will have some association with prison bars, but i think it would be more likely to be the offield type. No in all seriousness I saw him on the weekend and he is keen to get back to the bay to help out in the big man department.

LF, as much as we would love to have him, his asking price is just a little to steep for us

I see that representing us in the coaching side of things is Barry Pilmore and Darren Twigden :-bd

O:)

L. Creek: Phil Cleggett
Mt Compass: Shaun Maxfield, Marcus Burdett
Strathalbyn: Daniel Peglar
Victor Harbor: Campbell Simmons, Matthew Hodge, Dale Ellis
Willunga: Brad Haskett, Mitch Portlock, Sam Alexopoulos

There might be a couple more added as Sam Jones from Goolwa has pulled out.

Its a composite side between Hills, KI, Southern and Great Southern. All of these guys would be more than capable of competing in Port Pirie so best of luck to them and lets hope they all get picked!

Completely different ball game. Sure some of the Willunga lads are capable of playing some league footy and are a champion team, but this is the GSFL, the more solid bodies of the Panthers, the extra fitness and finesse would account for the Demons.

No point really comparing a side that trains twice a week and starts pre-season late Jan early feb to a side that trains 3-5 times a week, starts pre-season late october and has access to trainers, doctors, physio at the club.

Let's not forget the SANFL is the second best league in the country, these guys playing league even for south and westies are no chumps!

Yeah the SANFL is the 2nd best league in OZ but South are not up to league level and some of the guys playing league in that side would not star in the Willunga side. I think it would be a lot closer than you guys think

 As flattering as it is that you think we would beat a league side it just wouldnt happen. Their fitness, speed, skill and ability would far outweigh ours and a flogging would be given out i would think.

A big congratulations to Jacob Crate, a young Willunga lad who was nominated for the Star Search award in the SANFL for his performance on Sunday for South Adelaide League side. Well done Jacob! :ymapplause: :-bd

To suggest that Willunga would beat the PANTHERS (as they are now known) without a doubt is a totally ridiculous statement. Surley u r saying that "tongue in cheek". Even the BEST 22 players in Great Southern wouldn't get close imo but i suppose we'll never know for sure.

I would think South would beat Willunga by AT LEAST 15 goals. To say they wouldn't is ridiculous.

Sorry Mr teach you got it wrong. One example is Hams could never really cut it at SANFL level yet clearly is in the upper Echelon of GSFL forwards.

i find it quite fascinating that willunga, who have ABSOLUTELY dominated the league for this long yet they only have 3 blokes invited to try out for this rep game.
would this be because of who the coach is and that his players will be suspended for not taking part.to me this is an absolute joke, and if the coaches are not going to take this game seriously by choosing the best players, then why the hell would the players take it serious.i can not believe for 1 minute that willunga should only have 3 players available.
