Apparently in GF the umpires allow a player more time than normal to dispose of the ball. One was overheard after the game asking what was with PL spectators crying ball every time a player got tackled. I think we just like to see a good tackle rewarded and that maybe they could have let us know before the game that they would be lenient on this. They seem to let a lot more go, was same for both sides BTW.....

Any yellow cards come out this week?

panther, untapped ability, what umpires did you have?
we had lincoln umpires in our game also and i dont think the standard was much different to our regular umpires.
The win we had on the weekend was probably one of the best wins i have been involved in
to come from 5 goals down at half time and have 2 of our best players in jeffo and maggot sent off at the same time with about 2 minutes to go in the 2nd quater and to come out after half time and play the way we did to win by 8 goals against a good side showed a fair bit of courage and ability i thought

Which clubs would stay and which would go? 8 team comp with Kimba to Mid West, Cowell/Rudall merger, EU/Ports merger? I wonder if MR are having any discussions still?

How prophetic from a Tasman Vice President in 2003.

"We're going broke where we are now, we might as well go broke at Ravendale".

How do the TFC afford to pay players? shouldn't they be putting the money into paying back the loan?

So in affect Hockey and the TFC have been gifted $700,000 ($350,000 each) that they dont have to pay back? What about us? can they give us $350,000 for us to use at Poole Oval?
