bernie - Nothing wrong with being white my friend. Les Burdett has made a couple of enquiries about using me a sight screen this summer. I'll be white for the Test match, then after 5 days (or probably only 3 cos we'll smash the poms!) in the sun, I'll be nice and dark for the one dayers!

Bridgey dont get a banner there usually out at finals time so they dont get one, and the last time i checked bobby davis is a dorfer, a proud one at that.

Anyone have any opinion on Uri's resting a lot of players through the finals? I still think they don't have the legs to get up this w/e. They have been run down every game against Lofty this year. And they went down the last time at Balhannah too. Just can't see them getting up.

When the Devils played at Shanty, some dirty shantys had sprayed graffiti all over the wall surrounding the oval sledging us.

And you wonder why you can't get quality players.

There's only one thing I hate worse than a player from a dodgy club, and that's one who jumps ship and climbs aboard another! Only the very soft do not have the stomach to stick out the hard times at their struggling clubs. Well done to the Lofty lads who stuck it out and are now reaping some rewards and even good work to the Bridgy guys who are still there (even if they are Shantys!).

u need to realise that the graffiti wasn't written by any players but by the local "bridgy" boys who claim they are bridgy football fans but are to weak to actually play a game of football.

On that count, I certainly agree with you - they are dead set peanuts, and probably 99% of the reason Bridgy are labelled 'shatys'.

Not sure how it would work, but maybe the club should try targeting and banning those individuals from even attending the games.

Bernie ... Tav may well get the Chesty Bonds out on Saturday ... especially for the Devil who caused him a bit of grief on that wet day at Goat Park. Good bloke Tav, but when he lets go I wouldn't want to be around .. just ask that Pizzata clown who played for Onkas ... tried to ruffle the big blond up a couple of years ago, and certainly came off second best! Showers are forecast so remember back to that day at Heathfield, wasn't much in it, considering we lost Thommo in the sin bin for a while, again cos of the 'loose Devil' ... long memories, and may be a few square ups on offer now it's the game that counts. Must say congrats to young Devils for making GF ... watching Mt Lofty lose three is better than two! As I recall, Thomas had had 1 kick up to the point where he got sent off. Haven't heard of him doing anything in the other games against the Devils either so wouldn't rate him to pull anything off except himself on Saturday!

Taverner vs. Heath Pahl from Lofty would be a good contest. I don't think I'd be picking Tav either though it might be close. Definitely one for a cage match on Pay per View! Imagine the ads, Chesty Bonds vs. Pahl Ale!

I reckon Lofty with two wins on the day, and unfortunately for you GD, none for Uri's. Just can't see it happening but you never know! Have to like your goading style though....keep it up.
