In his defence he did improve the depth of the club. Evidence of this is the fact that the reserves side is playing in a grand final this week. Also he had to deal with big injuries to key players. 3 knee recons to hawkins, muscara and patruno is going to hurt anyside.

can never keep everyone happy in a side

As a coach your in a no win situation bradman you would no the difficulties of being in the gun. Maybe if your not at Saints next year throw your hat in the ramblers ring.

Pretty sure will be at rams. Got a good mix of players at the club so hope who ever gets appointed can bring it all together for a flag next year.

I did see that paul marshall was in the best regularly in the paper each week but c'mon portland... Im sure that had a lot to do be kouta, moose & the b grade coach - they all came from portland.... apparently the portland boys werent happy the way things were running out there so they went to seaton.
Peucker played just short or over a 100 games with north & 2 years out at port & all he could get were portland boys - what a wasted year for the rams in 2006 - but watch them fly in 2007
Injuries didnt help to key players but the club didnt recruit any big names..... Does anyone know who they are looking at to replace peucker...

The wheels were in motion for depth were already there. What is the point of getting depth if your A's get relegated? Are clubs judged on performaces of their A Grade or judged on their depth? All clubs have to deal with injuries (depth certainly helps and is important) and from what I understand Seaton had 3 or 4 qaulity players lined up for last season (none due to Puecker) but either they stayed at league clubs, priced themselves out of Big Al's league or stayed at their clubs. At the end of the day has Simon left Seaton in a better position then he started in? He did promise alot to the cheifs (from the limited knowledge I have and what I heard). All in all will Seaton every learn? One last question, over the last 10 years how many clubs that have been relegated from div 1 to div 2 have had player coaches? 80, 90% maybe???? Interesting

What do you mean by will seaton ever learn, and your right you do have limited knowledge. The players he got from portland all played A grade so what is your point about that.

An experienced Pooraka player is most definitely putting in coaching applications across the board, which would mean he'll leave the club.
