Heard from a reliable source Marc Cox is set to front up to training at Mannum tonight. Surely not.

Does he realise how far away Mannum is for him!!! He will probably just go after he trains with Bridgewater... ;)

Not Mannum, CMS Crows. Bit of travel, but know the coach Troy Clements, so get the luxury of training with Salisbury during the week. Then float up by bus sat mornings.
much easier than driving an hour and a half to encounter bay

Yea I think he is very good, he is a great player and doing a good job as a first time player/coach. I dont think it would be a easy job being a key mid-fielder and trying to coach at the same time, he leads by example and expects as much from him self as he does from others around him.

Tips this week:

Willunga by 13 goals over McLaren
Encounter Bay in an upset over Creeks 2 goals
GPE by 5 goals over Yank - now or never for the Pies
Strath by 3 goals over Victor
Pongy by 3 points over Compass

:)

I think Footner & Murgatroyd will both we back for the Creeks this week, will make things even more difficult for EB this weekend. You never know though, stranger things have happened.

Selections for the weekend
Langhornes Creek Too strong for an improving Encounter Bay
Yank will upset Goolwa who seem to have lost confidence
Victor only just against Strath. Should be a great game of footy with Victor physically stronger but Strath with a lot of pace. If Hodge is out the result may well be the other way round. The old warriors Duff and Hames will slog it out hard and may determine the result. Could be a draw after thinking about it more.
Compass in another tight one against Pongy
Looking forward to Sunday amongst the Willunga past players cheering on McLaren, who have a few outs this week,
Hope it rains as much as it did in 2003 and McLaren might just upset the Demons

Langhornes will beat E Bay, but it does look like the Bays are starting to get it together after a slow start!
Goolwa to beat Yank, the goolwa lads need the win to keep any chance of finals alive.
Strath to beat Victor, Hodge out, Strath are up and about but result could go either way.
Compass to beat Pongy, always tough games between these 2 but Compass too much class and the pongy lads still hungover from Tilts 30th.
Willunga to beat Mclarens, Past players day, Sunday footy, the dees love it and will be ready to go!!!

Hey BJ
Have you seen the special jumpers for the day?
I hear they may not look good on you and Baxter with a big hoop around the middle.
Concept of five in a row ( twice) is good
Are they up for auction after the game or do you get to keep them
