Yellow ball can be negotiable.
Lights, where they're available shouldn't be.

Maybe start the games a half hour earlier.
That would solve the light problems.
Or cut the half time breaks... just seems to be
more time for the coach to continue the angry spray.
haha.

reducing half time breaks SHOULD only save a few minutes as they arent supposed to go for more than 8 minutes or so anyway from memory. someone can correct me on that im sure.
starting earlier might be tough for THE BIG SIX as they already run a pretty tight ship with juniors i believe.

Didn't play. Gone North, shearing. Word is he might not play again. I hope that's not the case.

If all RFL Clubs adhere strictly to the starting times and if necessary adjust the time in the game as so the games finish on time!! If the A grade starts on time and the umpires keep on the coaches back to make sure they don't hold up the start of the next quarter it will HELP to the light issue in the next four weeks. It has been a problem for some time especially when the 13's & 15's came back to saturday footy (which we should not change back to sunday) It is more of a problem on overcast days as well. Lights should be turned on early if they are available!

Did the Arnold brothers play Saturday? If not and judging by the score line they didn't! Are they likely to be on the park in the near future??

Our game started early on Saturday. Half time was slightly longer due to the 'mini-league' but one suspects that if the scoreline hadn't been sooooo big - the game may have finished on time.

As for the Arnold boys - Tim's gone for the season, did his wrist in the centenary game. Pickles played on the weekend and was fantastic against a strong tide.

He's quite often a reminder to the other clubs that the Independent competition exists.
Yes, he can be frustrating but he put a lot of work into Riverland junior footy and the MKFC, as well as Independent footy that shouldn't be forgotten.
