Been or being cleared to Bridgewater so I've heard. Apparently it wasn't Coxy's preferred club but Bridgewater's application was first so that is the way it went. Got to love that...........Nice work Encounter Bay.

Why would any club want this bloke after he's been to soooo many clubs in the past 2-3 years???

Especially Bridgy, with their history of losing recruits after a year or two - surely Bridgy don't think they are going to get more than a year or so (if that!!) service from this guy????

Why would you bother???

Agree fully! When will Bridgy learn, get another $500 plus player a week, who WILL NOT care about the club, play for this yr and if your lucky one more then go. Bridgy people dont get on here and say oh but were improving! Bull dust, just continue to spend silly amounts of money on money swoopers and neglect your juniors and facilities. He will join the LONG list of 1-2 yr Money men who take you no-where! Finishing 5-8 is No-where!
Atleast Uraidla, Mt Lofty, Hahndorf, Blackwood get results for there money!

Played against marc once this year and couldn't see why he is rated so highly? Didn't dominate as one would expect for one who seems to market themselves so effectively.

Hills attempted to suspend 18 players due to not showing up to association training. Know a few have gotten off on appeal. Can anyone name the players who didn't and will be missing the next two weeks?

Heard from a mate at Para Hills that he'd been training out there. I think he used to or still lives down that way. Was he the solid fella that used to play up forward??

I would have thought they would want to hold onto him, gives them a big target up forward especially with a young team around him. He ddin't move far from the square against Bridgy but certainly knows how to take a grab. Thought he was one of their top 3 against Bridgy.

Carlo has been training with us for the last 3 weeks. He does live down this way and he played all his juniors at Para Hills and a few years of senior footy. He just rocked up to the club on a Saturday night and came out to training the following Tuesday.

Real solid, tough game on the weekend. Was an excellent contest with the lads starting strongly and Mt Barker coming home very strongly.
Injuries became a concern heading into the last quarter for Birdwood as we had no one on the bench and had to move 2 key defenders up forward. Mt Barker are a good, young side and their young players really stood up and took the game on.
On a down note I was really disappointed with the amount of whinging that some of the senior Mt Barker players took part in. The umpiring wasn't great, but when is it and it was bad going both ways so seriously shutup and be an example to the younger lads.

Any reports from other games?

How good is Simon Muster? I watched him against Blackwood and he tore the game open, easily top 3 best on the day. What a gun.
