Is he going back to Imps so that they can pay for his operation?

I highly doubt the young bloke is getting paid. Preseason there were rumors of a few clubs putting pressure on the lad with coin, but he decided to stay at Tailem, and my mail is for free.

Hogarth isn't on the pay roll. Either is Sumner, who would have to be the best long term pick up the Eagles have had. Back fresh from surgery has only played 2 games and kicked 4 goals in both coming off the bench as a small forward.

If these blokes like Sumner and Hogarth are willing to play for free, why pay them. Good to see locals doing there part for the Eagles.

And as I said before, the other blokes paid lads seem to be doing alright. Bell, Gabb, Vickers.... there is just a bloke running around out there on big $$$ who I'm not sure Paul Abbot would even play in his B grade side and a coach who seems to make some odd decisions.

Which one is it??? You obviously havent got a clue, if the lad was getting money last season, then why would he play this season for free??

What?? You make no sense. Who said he got paid last year?

I can tell you he doesn't, and infact hasn't. So you obviously have no clue.

Well Sumner has made it clear he has no intentions of returning to Imps. None. Whether or not he does is another story... But has made it quite clear that he is finally enjoying the club he plays for and would like to stay.

Do you get your info from the horse's mouth??? or second hand . I said he got money last year, might not be as much as the others are on. As i was pointing out in your previous post, you said " I highly doubt he is getting paid" and in the next line you said " he isnt on the payroll" , thats why I think you have no clue !!!

How does a bloke kick six of his teams nineteen and not make the top four best players for his side?? thats a joke.

Okay, just to clarify, I spoke to the lad at Tailem's first home game, about whether he'd been tempted by any offers and he said he had not and that he does not receive payment to play and has not.

Write up in the Standard:

Should be an interesting round.

I think Meningie may actually get up this week, their home ground advantage may prove to be significant.

i agree meinigie have a very good chance. they should of won the game the last time they played. all the hype about tailem seems to have worn off. any thoughts scratchin? if tailem cant win on saturday the club needs to start looking for a new coach for 2010 and take a look at the recruits and the money they have spent. it certainly isnt paying off.

I would of thought 1 club contributing 7 players to the RMFL side ( a third of the team plus the coach and trainers) was a fair effort, considering Honner and Seyers were injured and missed the week before and Hodge pulled a hammy and will be missing a few weeks i dont know at who or why your having a go.
Perhaps some other clubs should look in the mirror.

meinigie beat tailem quite convinceably yesterday. dent needs to take a look at himself as a coach. a lot of hype and has done nothing with the club. where are all there recruits comer, linke, lynch, bell, robertson, gabb, vickers. surely not all these players are injured/unavailable.

Heard that michael thomas was sacked from tailem bend, and crawled back to morphie parks again. That appears to be a HUGE loss for tailem. Any truth to this, did he do anything yesterday?

any comment scratchin you havent said much about tailem since they started losing.

Halfback you can have your say, but I am sick off the shit that you write. All you have done in all your post is can the recruits & the coach. You one of the losers that do nothing around the club except get pissed and can all the players. Or if you are involed in the club you need to have a good look in the mirror.

Scratchin 03 was thinking the same myself. Halfback why dont you go up to the recruits and tell them to their face instead of hiding behind the computer. Drama your not much better and the amount you write about the club and what you know you are definitely involed nothing worst that people back stabbing people they know.

dont think i have canned the recruits. simply asked whats happened to them all. you wrote of them very highly in your posts earlier in the year but i dont believe we are yet to see what they have done. lots of money being spent with little result. i have only asked what dent has done with the club as it doesnt seem he has done a whole heap. at this rate tailem will finish in the same position as last year or make 5th spot. you all seem very defensive when you are questioned on the recruits and the coach. from reading on here earlier in the year you all talked up tailem and since they begun losing you have nothing to say about them.
my question was what has happened to them all are they all still playing? are they injured? from the SFL thread m thomas is no longer playing is this true?
if i am involved in the club then i can question the recruits and dent as i want to see tailem do well and make the right decisions. same goes for if i come and watch some games during the year and get pissed.
