Huh? Surely if you can do that once you can do it again?

Or maybe you wont get a team coming off a 5 day break again this season, North played well but it was painfully obvious that Sturt were unusualy slow today

All this rubbish talk about a champion player in Brant Chambers is just jealousy and a bit of tall poppy syndrome. If you dont think he is a great player , well you dont really understand the game . Also why is it that there seems to be some that just take weak pot shots. I have read some posters saying North will lose but then jump back on saying how good they are?( Bit like an insurance policy isnt it) Lack of knowledge and substance I think. Interesting a couple of names I read were the ones bagging Jars( and some say influencing the sacking ) their coach last year. As a neutral observer it seems to be the same comments by genuine North supporters on the North supporters site . Maybe they understand that they are supporters and dont run the club ? Well done North on the result today.

Umm, he was saying North have drawn a line in the sand as far as what they should look at in regard to their own performances.
If you were there today and at the last couple of North games you woudl have understood.

Think you'll find that he wrote bags, not the occasional bag. Consistent bags makes a big difference. Kicking 100+ 2 years in a row means you are consistently kicking bags

Yeah, you are right mate, sorry ;) :D

I guess it is off topic as well, so perhaps I should dig up the thread from that game 2 years ago and we could chat about it a little more over there mate ;)

We said nothing about premierships. We were cheering because we're called a cheer squad  . We'll be quiet for you next time so you can enjoy getting thumped in peace and quiet.
Not a Crows supporter by any chance?

Nah no excuses. Is Rowston umpiring next Friday? ;)

The same preparation in terms of timing yes, but we did play the league leaders last Mon and you guys won convincingly today, whilst we were smashed. Unless our players were told to take it easy today and start thinking about next week you will beat us comfortably ;)

best 4 quarter by the reds this year without a doubt. although the 5 day break by sturt, i thought the roosters pressure all over the ground was awesome. i felt it in the first 10 mins (it was tight) that we had come to play. wasnt sure after last weeks effort wasnt good enough to match sturt but we harrassed and when got clear was as clean as we have been all year. our forward line is a sight to see when all are on the job. maccas job on chambo was impressive even though he got 4, ill take that against the champ. stribs job on gum was great, as healy stated, he is a gun, and had no influence, kudos to stribs.im so greateful healy gave theile a chance , its paying dividends. fast becoming one of my favs. i remember hearing healy saying early on, its what u do when u havent got the ball. i really saw that today. and i want more of it.

Gotta say that the most impressive thing about North today, apart from their aerial superiority, was their tackling and harrassing. Rarely did the Blues enjoy a free passage of play.
