Yeah, he's an ordinary player old Chambo... Pfft... Great comment Sleeping Moron...

Yeah...would not want him in my side

Shocking comment!!!

When was the last time Chambers kicked a bag against good opposition, or in an important game?

So no facts to back up your stupid comment then?
You don't kick 100 goals in a season 2 years running against weak opposition only.
Only last week he kicked 5 against Central, is that still "bully" behaviour ?

He did alright last week and Centrals are far from a bottom side. You're only as good as what you're given.

What was the delivery like by the sturt midfielders today? I assume very poor but that's an amazing achievement to kick 4.5 in a total of 4.6. I'm sure Double Blue supporters would take an average of 4 goals a game from him. 4 goals x 20 matches = 80 goals in the H&A season.

11 goals against Eagles-probably not considered GOOD opposition by the Sleeping Moron.

He's the only Sturt bloke that put in anything resembling an effort today. But he was very undisciplined himself on several occasions and for him to be rated our best tells you how woeful the rest were. Congrats to the Roosters though...they played like we did 5 days ago. They showed pure class that couldn't be matched in any position. I got sick of the number of times Gill went to Alleway who went to White. Their KPP's were a worry for many Sturt people before the game and our fears were justified. As good as it has been the Sturt defence cannot currently match North for height and weight. In addition, our midfield looked slow from the opening bounce. There was some amazing goalkicking from the home team too, plenty of long shots that split the big ones.

I hope that we can put this down to an aberration, but I fear that in our 3rd game in 11 days coming up this Fri night that we could see a similar result against the Bays. Will be very interested to see what North can achieve against Centrals next week. If they play like they did today they will smash them.

I guess we are using relative referencing.

To North a bag is 7.

To Chambo a bag is 10.

Any of you putzes done that?

Enjoy your win, North aren't in the hunt.

Unfortunately, you're right...

Sturt didn't look like having a chance after the first five minutes of the first qtr. The Roosters came switched on and blew the Double Blues out of the water. For me, the key points to their game was their ability to take strong marks, continually apply pressure to their opponents and find space all too often. Hats off North on clearly being a far superior team on the day.

As a Sturt supporter, I'd be about as worried as a Bulldogs supporter after last weeks game - not very. Sturt have proven they're a contender and will play a big role in September. Having 5 days to get up after a hit out against the league benchmark makes life a bit more difficult. If we get pumped by the Tigers next week then I'll start getting concerned.

As for today's game, I don't think you'd really want to go into who was best for Sturt... Fellow Sturt supporters - is Avery the real deal? In my opinion - no. Every time I've seen him play, I've commented that he struggles to read the play and is too often found lagging many metres behind his opponent. Surely we have some better prospects in our 2's...

And what do we think of Nick Gill's tackle (particularly ironic given the ABC's three qtr time discussion). I thought it was pretty poor and could have had more serious consequences. Still, Gill's probably frustrated knowing that he'll never play AFL again...

Oh well, there's always next week.

You show me when Chambers has kicked a bag against good opposition, or in an important game? He hasn't done it against Centrals, Glenelg or North recently!

It's a catchy name isn't it?

I think he's just jealous he doesn't wear red and white...

White was great today. We'll keep an eye on him and see how many he kicks for the rest of the season...

Anything to do with Myles being stretchered off? (I missed what happened there too)

Gills tackle was not a spear tackle, it was a fearsome tackle and had the unfortunate result of a Sturt player being knocked out. If it ends up being a report sobeit, I think if you are a Sturt supporter I would be more worried about what happens when your runners are shut down. Lucky Leo Chambers is up in your forward line to do some damage

Pinning a blokes arms and dumping him with no hope of him being able to cushion the blow is poor form in my book. Still, Gill knows all about poor form! (along with today's Sturt side...)
