As a hypethetical how would the ladder be based on performances this year if the two leagues were combined this year eg... who would beat who... whos a better team than who....would the ladder look like this.... (say each team with a full list)

Ramblers
Marble Range
Waybacks
Mallee Park
Tumby Bay
Tasmans
Lincoln South
Lock
Eyre United
United Yeelana
Cougers
Bostons

not sure where placings 6 - 10 would finish any thoughts??? how would ramblers measure up against MR, MP ect...

Well on results and standings in their respective leagues, that's looks pretty spot on.
Any more to be heard about those 3 Lincoln teams breaking away? Or are 2 of them just concentrating on their game this weekend...
Then again, was that just an OL rumour?

my posts have a lot more substance and are more intelegent than yours JQ.
One of those teams is looking at playing a home game at Edilillie next year to show there open mindness to a merger. They are looking for another team that will play the game there.

From what I saw of Ramblers Saturday I would have thought they would start favourite against MR or W. Very strong with their better players as in Fitzgerald, the Pedlers etc etc very very good. If burger wasn't best by the proverbial mile I'll go he. Has got the package. Not very tall but runs fast, leads beautifully, marks strongly and kicks goals and at around 22 years has a lot in front of him.
Feel pretty happy for Rog and Ruley
Interesting to hear some Tumby supporters criticising a particular player from their own team. Wore No 4 and more interested in biffo than footy. Had to agree with them.
Interesting observation by more than a couple outsiders watching the goings-on aftyer the final siren. Very little celebration and more like a normal match not a GF. Then again perhaps not so surprising, Ramblers would be too used to it.

Cool. We'll just take your word for it, OL. You seem trustworthy and honest.

He was in the side we picked tips.
There is always unlucky / lucky bloke to make or not make it.
The biggest shock to me is the coach .... Martin Leslie??? UY won 3 games last year and 3 games this year ... that doesn't constitute any coaching greatness to me.
Would have thought Matty Mellor taking Lock from non-finalists to a prelim final with the same playing group would have been a fair achievment ..... or even Horgs taking Tumby from 4th to a grand final???

Appears that comments made by me (1/4 sober) regarding the MR coach have raised his ire. Humbly apologetic if this has caused him any distress, however the comment was prompted by remarks made in his exit speech in the demons changerooms after the game, alluding to the 'favoritism' that WFC received from the umpires contibuting to the win.
I have since heard that he has apparently approached the same WFC coach to ask if he can give the players a 'pep'talk b4 the grandy.

Todd, I know you are a consistent reader of the forum for most of the year but have yet to post an opinion. Nows the time
