I wasn't telling you to change your list JAS, I was just advising Redleg fans that they are likely to have Nick's services this weekend.

Well until the club say otherwise I'm more inclined to take the word of our own forum and the Power website...

http://www.portadelaidefc.com.au/news/n ... fault.aspx

“Bobby will miss with a virus and obviously with Boaky out with his knee, Robbie Gray (who missed last week with a virus) will get a bit more of a run in the centre. Nick Lower has been omitted but will travel with the team as the emergency.”

Yeah, fair enough JAS...

Plus Nick Lower will be the travelling emergency for the Power up in Darwin anyway so he wont be coming into the Redlegs side.

That really annoys me when the AFL clubs do this...

Nick Lower is dropped and so wil now not play any football at all this weekend (unless he is a late call up of course) so how is the guy supposed to find form to get back into the Power line up.

Surely common sense would say that with 3 other SANFL clubs having the bye this weekend, the travelling emergency could come from one of Nathan Krakouer (Magpies), Matt Broadbent (Eagles), Mitch Banner (Eagles) or even Jack Trengove (Magpies) as they will not be playing this weekend due to the bye.

Seems silly, isn't fair to the player that misses out while his SANFL side plays and must be frustrating for the fans of the individual SANFL clubs.

Wasn't dropped mate, has been kept away from the playing group all week with a head cold and has been ruled out of the game against the Western Bulldogs because of this.

It's fairly shabby that neither The Advertiser nor the SANFL website (or anyone for that matter) can put the SANFL teams up online by this time on a Friday afternoon.

Yes South can beat Norwood. It is meant to be windy and that may help South if they can control Norwood for 1 q with the wind and utlilise it there maybe an upset.
