RD 11 Can the Panthers defeat Norwood?

Postby panthers 2008 » Tue Jun 09, 2009 11:29 pm

Do the panthers have any chance of beating Norwood this weekend?
Which Norwood will turn up to Noarlunga? The real deal team or the dodgy crud one?
I think we can give them a run,its just a matter of how long we can sustain the effort.
Norwood by 4 goals, although I hope I am proven wrong!!

Not only has Norwood failed to string together 2 wins in a row this year, but I don't think they've even yet played a half-good game the week after a victory. So sure, why not?

More of this sort of talk is doing us a favour, as the #1 way that South can defeat Norwood, is if Norwood show up thinking they can't lose.

By all reports Norwoods pressure on their oppostition is quite reasonable. Better than Centrals even (at the moment)

is parry ready to return ?

also whatabout doyle, is he available ?

when the young kids at south play 4 quaters they'll knock off a few teams but i think this will happen more so next year than this year, perhaps south should turn the lights on as norwoods form as we know is terrible under them ;)
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

Parry, after doing his AC joint in the State Game of course, is listed as being 6 - 8 weeks away, a massive blow for the Panthers.

While Stephen Doyle, a late withdrawal from the Norwood side last week, is down as having a test on his calf, which has caused him some grief already this year.

They ARE a chance!

I believe the Panthers can win by 3 goals.
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail

No

In all honesty, South are a disgrace and should be disbanded.

As a Norwood supporter I think South could win - it depends which Norwood team turns up.

Can add Nick Lower to that Norwood side, if he is not the travelling emergency for the Power, as he was ommitted from their side this week.
