Hmm sort of makes up for us getting beaten at teh World Cup in 1983 by Zimbabwe.

I'm not sure which is worse the POMS getting beaten by the Dyke lovers in a World Cup T20 game or us getting beaten by Zimbabwe at the limted overs World Cup in 1983....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

It just goes to show, that in the most shortened form of the game any team can beat any other. The best team doesn't necessarily win (as compared to Test cricket, where over 5 days the best team will almost always win, which is why Test cricket is the best, true form of the game, and must survive). Which makes for great viewing, especially when its the Poms who are on the wrong end of it! :D Did you see poor old Paul Collingwood (terrible name to start with) at the after match presentations? I bet all he was thinking was "I'm gonna get raped in the press over this"!

Did Nannes do the damage for the Netherlands?

Actually it was rain-reduced to 7 overs, so Scotland made a competitive total.

Kiwis got home in the end via Taylor and Styris smashing 3 sixes in the 6th over from a pretty ordinary bowler.
Up until then, the Scots were still in with a chance.
