Good to see United and Balak both lose to leave us in the 4 going into the week off! Actually, regardless of helping us, it's just good to see them both lose! :D How long before the knives are out at the Water Tower I wonder? The wise men on the sidelines won't be happy, I hope that JD has been following their instructions or there'll be trouble...

Mischevious, Jack.

Actually from the looks of it all the wise men have swapped camp and are lurking behind Keith Earl's camp, there was just the officials loitering around the United bench the other day, yet the week prior saw numerous faces in black and white jackets all voicing their opinions and comments, but i assume that's just the devoted fans.

PS: MC/Moonunit/P.O.A. Whats the go with Spider Sharman's hair, is he an emo now?

I'm thinking that these wise men are SUPPORTERS strangely enough, more than likely barracking and supporting their team, quite common at Mallala matches to get Mallala supporters actually voicing their support  :D I'm led to believe that this kind of behaviour is not unusual at most clubs, with small aggregations forming behind or within close proximity to their clubs respective "bench", these aggregations tend to be more concentrated during "away" matches as some "away" grounds have seating for about 35 people (unless of course you want to sit on the hill), all of which is generally in front of the "away" clubrooms and bar, hence the formation such aggregations. Incredibly some fans even wear club merchandise such as black and white jackets, not I'm not sh*tting you Rooster! Cop this, Mallala FC even had Mallala FC jackets made

Was a cracker of a game on Saturday and probably the best atmosphere I've felt this year (close game helps) even though the crowd wasn't exactly huge. Disappointing to lose by a point but games like that can go either way and at the end of the day someone has to lose. With a result like that it really could be a "four point" game come the end of the season.

The one positive to come out of the game was that yours truly had the correct margin ticket and has made the footy trip fund one more carton of beer richer. :D

Its strictly against club policy to play emo's but with the national emo convention in Adelaide this week we have turned a blind eye to Spider for a few weeks. He scrubbed his black finger nail polish off for the game but left his toe nail polish on as it was all covered up.

Any blokes you think should be included Swamp Monster? Obviously you see mainly your own team mates, but your thoughts as a living legend of the game would be much appreciated! I for one think that looks to be a pretty strong squad, and one that should bring home the bacon from Jamestown. Assuming they find it! Jamestown that is, not the bacon, although I'm sure Higgsy will be looking hard!

Work responsibilities have restricted FGH from posting. Please clarify what you are implying by saying "is it possible we dont see FGH early in the week cos it takes him a couple days to get the match report from mates at hamley?" Note sure what your trying to say here.

And, Well done for trying to disclose a poster. WANKER L-) L-)

I am absolutley Staggered, Mallala has jackets? i must have missed that edition of the producer! or was that kind of news run in the larger media outlets. One would have thought that barracking was the main Activity carried out by these suggested "SUPPORTERS" but as a lot of their comments were directed towards members of the opposite teams players, i naturally assumed that were were offering they're suggestions as to how to improve their performance. Silly me, i guess i will now assume that when they are abusing players they are abusing thier own players which would make them pretty mediocre "SUPPORTERS", but "SUPPORTERS" none the less.

Oh and most clubs would have seating for about 35, but you can park around most ovals also, a good vantage point to be enjoyed by all in the plains.

Enough Said!
However it is good to see livewire fanta pants Nykamp get amongst them. Lets hope that the young rooster pubes can get a game and turn it on like a dwarf Steve O'Dwyer! (Steven O'Dwyer (born 19 January 1966) is a former footballer who played for Melbourne in the VFL/AFL.

A redheaded lanky ruckman, 'strawbs' O'Dwyer won the 1988 Keith 'Bluey' Truscott Medal for Melbourne's best and fairest player, helping the club reach their first Grand Final since 1964. He missed the decider however after being suspended for striking Carlton's Steven Da Rui in the Preliminary Final.

O'Dwyer was traded to Richmond for a draft pick (Darren Kowal) at the end of 1991. Injuries forced O'Dwyer into retirement a year later only managing 5 games with the tigers.
