Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!![/quote]

Oh we're from Tigerland
A fighting fury
We're from Tigerland
In any weather you will see us with a grin
Risking head and shin
If we're behind then never mind
We'll fight and fight and win
For we're from Tigerland.
We never weaken till the final siren's gone
Like the Tiger of old
We're strong and we're bold
For we're from Tiger (yellow and black)
We're from Tigerland.

Don't get me wrong T0, I'm stoked the lads got up and won both senior games, but do you really need to post the song?
The word "overkill" comes to mind.

If you were at the match tho bro, can you tell me how Daine Hart went in his first match for us?

better behaviour at the football on the weekend from what I saw. looks like my spray from last week worked.

I was disgusted at the way centenary oval was left when I got back into town. rubbish everywhere! and guess who played there?

So this weekend...

Boston/Marble Range @ Wangary...

Tasman/Wayback (night game) @ The Complex...

Lincoln South/Mallee Park @ HQ...

I'm thinking Waybacks would have to blitz Tassies.... 40+

Mallee's would get up over Souths- not as big as many would thought, probly a few goals tho... 1-39

Bostons/Marble Range would be close to match of the round... Bostons on a high after breaking the drought, Marble Range needing to back up after a humiliating loss to the Peckers... I'll leave that tip until I see the sides... ;)

I'm gonna do the BFC match, and say they'll get up by 3 goal- 1-39...

Yes I put mine in bro...
As above:

WFC 40+
MP 1-39
BFC 1-39

It would have made the same sound as a bubble wrap bubble being popped.

i saw the incident - the wayback player didn't even re-act ... it was more of a love tap. With the PLFL's record over the past few seasons he should get a reprimand at most.

Something's been bugging me...

Port Lincoln in the Mortlock Shield is reliant on other Leagues...

i.e. Whyalla playing as one side or two, or whether or not we have a side like Kangaroo Island competing (this hasn't happened for a while, but is still very much a possibility).

It is because of these other Leagues which determine whether or not Port Lincoln is represented by the combined outfit, or by Lincoln City and Lincoln Districts.

If we were to choose this ourselves, I can understand GG's signature, alluring to the fact that "Port Lincoln" has won 4 Mortlock Shields, but in actuality, Port Lincoln/Lincoln City/Lincoln Districts sides have won 17 Mortlock Shileds, dating back from 1947, and as recently as 2004.

Since we are not deciding this on our own, should Port Lincoln be able to lay claim to 17 Mortlocks, or four?

Opinions anyone?

Came at young sampson with a few flying arms well out of play for no apparent reason, by the looks of it. None of which contacted though, will stupidly be let off.
