Mathew's a very good coach.. Hopefully Jared listen's in and learns a thing or two!!!!

Is JaRED pURO becoming the new Eddie McGuire? He seems to have a finger in every pie?

looks more like he has his hands wrapped around the pie before making light work of it and hitting a can of draught.

by the way lace out my claim to fame is i was only one here to tip nuri last week :D :D

Congrats to Doecke.
Daysofourlives you continually slander players, people and teams on here and have nothing constructive to say other than how good Willaston are all of a sudden. Pathetic.
All you will ever be known as is a lap dog for the great coach Seelander.
If your going to come on here, how about some positives for BLG instead of negative sarcasm all the time?

not many lap dogs can disect the opposition line up within 5 minutes of the game willaston are lucky to have the old dog in their corner.
the donnybrooks have never spruked to be good they are a work in progress and will need to lift to new heights to beat centrals this week, with that said i think they can do it.

Willaston 24 pts
Barossa 15 pts
Tanunda 100 pts
Kapunda 35 pts

Centrals , if they bring there A game. Craig Dawe will have the boys chaffing at the bit in a physical contest.
Dogs, there top 5 players are as good as anyones in the comp.
Kapunda Bombers to get a much needed win. Even if it was against a full strength South.
Tanunda , hope they have enough numbers for the scoreboard.

Willaston should be embarassed by their second half yesterday. Centrals were only ahead by a couple of goals at the main break, and then they had a training run in the second half. Willaston wouldnt beat Freeling playing like they did after half time.

I ventured down to Donnybrook Park yesterday hoping to see a game first hand that would make me eat my words and make me actually believe that the BLG and Willaston for that matter were recruiting the right sort of player; my opinion stands.
Being an old Willaston player myself I saw yesterday as a great way to get back to where it all began for me as a player, a fair while ago now i must admit. What i witnessed was a complete disregard for that old saying "pride in the jumper". All i saw and heard was a bunch of blokes abusing each other, not willing to go in and get the footy when it was there turn. There so called "big game" players went missing when the heat was on with one of them not even bothering to chase his opponent out of defence, preferring to sit at home in the confines of the goal square.
Plain and simply the coaching staff of Willaston were out coached. Seelanders ability not to make any moves whatsoever shows what the club has got to work with this season. 5 minutes to go into the last quarter, what a great time to put someone different on Centrals full forward, after hes already kicked 10 goals. That was one of many that left me and my mate that tagged along with me scratching our heads.
There are some players in that Willaston side who dont warrant a-grade footy, lets be honest. They are only there for the royalties after the game. I hope that those "big game" players i talked about previously donated there little envelopes back to the club; cause if they thought they deserved any sort of recognition for a performance like that they need to take a good hard look at themselves.
I really shouldnt of expected much more as looking through the results who have Willaston beaten lets be honest. The first sign of any sort of heat or competition the Willaston side of years past would of stepped up to the plate, this new side went into their shells yesterday and it was there for all to see. The exodus of cars at 3 quarter time was testimony to that.
I cant wait to read the responses, or should i say excuses from Pinchitter and Daysofourlives for what i saw yesterday. They were very quick to run me down a couple of weeks ago when i was last on this blog.
I went back to the club yesterday boys hoping to see a good game against a cross town arrival; what i saw and heard was a team of blokes abusing each other and not willing to do the team things. It's like a cancer it spreads very quickly, Seelander needs to put a stop to this as it has been brewing for a number of seasons. I heard alot of abuse yesterday from the sidelines, with the two main culprits not making many friends amongst the playing group. After listening to Seelanders 3 qtr time address im not sure he can talk to the boys loud enough for his message to be heard.

Congratulations to the Angaston boys who gave Matthew Doecke the result he deserved for his 300th game, by giving the Barossa Bulldogs a football lesson. Coach Hadden appeared to have done more homework on Barossa, than Nelson did on his opposition.
Unfortunately, we have to endure a week of pain and agony because of the annual association game. When we get over this we can then look forward to the real stuff. Looking forward to seen Hadden face off with his old mentor Seelander and Co the following week.

great day today at the angaston footy club to honour matthew doeckes 300th. good to see all his past coaches there bar 1 from his 17 seasons of football. some very interesting stories were told in a bit of a roasting session. very highly respected player on and off the field at angaston and indeed from opposition clubs who also sent letters of congratulations to matthew. would be a record that i imagine wont be broken for a very long time. is 400 out of the question?

I sense that you didn't enjoy your day Underbelly. Undersatnding the great Olly Seelander coaching ethos, he will want to nip the backchatting in the bud straight away and to put it in his own words "they will need to get that S**t out of their games".
Can I guess those two payers not making friends from within were brothers? Seelander had the choice of keeping either 2 brothers or a pair of cousins and decided that the latter were the problem for his club to move forward (questionable decision in my and many other peoples eyes).
