Went to the PHOS/ Gepps game on Sat. expecting a good contest and was not dissapointed. It was a great advertisement for footy and both sides need to be congratulated. Just a pity the mighty PHOS boys couldnt keep going like they had the previous two weeks, but full credit to Gepps. Havent heard from BM for a while. Would have thought he would be gloating about going back to Div. 1 by now or at least putting crap on Phos or our coach. Wonder whether he was one of the buffoons whose idea of supporting his side is just rubbishing the opposition players. Seem to be a lot of that from the Gepps crowd.
Not sure who to pick this week TTG or Gepps. Obviously TTG are fresh but are they match hardened like Gepps? I listened to Gepps coach at the breaks and was very impressed with what he had to say and his game plan. TTG will be confident after last game and must start favourite and I think their run may be to much for Gepps to handle. What does everyone think? Will TTG play Patman and will Gepps play Phillips?

Gepps ran out of steam in the last game aleague. They were certainly better in the first half. Terrible wind that day too if I remember so goals were at a premium and I think TTG handled the conditions better. The weather is fine and mild this Saturday (so far) so should be a more even game.

Interesting with the draw between Gepps Cross and Tea Tree Gully in today's GF.
Will be a financial windfall for some.

LBJ, Div 2 gf confirmed at 12.15 next Sat at Alberton. Not a good option IMO. For mine Sat's game should of been decided with 5 min each way extra time. TTG probably better for 2 and half qtrs and in the end lucky to hold on for a draw. Good tight contest.

Oh well so much for my info on the D2 granny. Hope all the people at Gepps yesterday for the junior presenation now get the correct info. Salisbury Sat at 2.15. Much better option than squeezing it in at Alberton. Vits hope I can live thru another bus trip to the game and back.Carn RAMS!!

Very entertaining game in Div. 2 grand final. I thoroughly enjoyed the game and atmosphere with a fantastic last quarter by Gepps. I thought they wre dead and buried after TTG got on top in 3rd Quarter but full credit to them with their spirited last Q. comeback. Thought TTG went a bit too defensive too early and the Gepps plan outlined at 3Q. time seemed to work a treat. Obviously very evenly matched teams so it will be interesting to see who wins this week. What if its another draw at full time. Another replay or extra time ?

Have to agree with you there d/l. Extra time would of been the common sense thing to do but then again common sense and the SAAFL administration are miles apart.

Both teams stuffed...Lee Henderson on a drip

Common sense has prevailed in replaying it

Should be at Alberton before Div 1
