Now paraphrasing comments from their own supporters, if Norwood are so bad, the coach is a dead man hanging in the breeze, the club has no money and the players aren't committed, then why don't we fold the club, just bulldoze the other side of Woods St, and return the competition to an even no. of teams with no bye and have a 21 game season where we play each other 3 times a year and have a final 4?

You really wanna cost yourself 2-3 guaranteed wins a year??

Nothing new there. Perhaps its time the SANFL considered mandatory pschycological testing for the umps, i.e. sit them down in fornt of a TV screen hooked up to heart and brain activity monitors then show them photos of various league players...

as much as it has been said, i belive that norwood hav to make a desicion on the main job very soon and think about how the club is going to go forward... under hill to me it dosnt look like he is the man that can take us to another finals series soon ( taylor walker was a main reason we made it last year)... start of the year we were expected 2 finish in top 3 and now it looks like the bottom 3... macca was a better coach and was given the arse earlier then him

Not that a guy of his calibre needs any help!
But thats the nature of the beast with a high profile full forward that gets plenty of attention......one day it will go his way, then for some reason unbeknown to anyone but the umpires they will pick in his favour.
Obviously the Sturt guys see plenty of him,and see a lot of what happens in to regards as to how the umps generally approach him.
You ask an oppositon supporter and they will say he gets a ride, you ask a Double Blues guy and he will tell you he gets a rough trot.

Funny that it's Constance Perm making the noise about Chambo getting a raw deal. Last time I checked, his profile says he's a Norwood supporter.

Shut up Voice. f*** sake!

WTF is your problem REB? Just pointing out to someone thats getting the story wrong. Not to say that no Sturt supporters were whingeing about umps, just that CP is an opposition supporter saying Chambo got a raw deal. Kind of kills what whitelinefever was saying.
Stop sooking champ. Not my fault your club's s#!t. Take it like a man! Us true Sturt supporters did while we were down.
BTW, you won't hear me whingeing about umps. It's a cop out as if your teams is good enough, it'll win regardless.

The insipid group of over-rated individuals that pulled on the Norwood jumper Friday night played with about as much passion, fire and committment as a Trevor Hill three quarter time address.

In fact, the dire situation down at the Parade has gone way past the issue of whether Trevor Hill should be sacked immediately as coach. Clearly, this would only satisfy the growing number of Norwood supporters that are convinced this guy is incapable of coaching at SANFL level.

More concerning is the losing, non competitive culture that has crept into this once proud and spirited club. Season over.

Trevor Hill's much talked about 'structure' that he bases his coaching around simply isn't working or registering with the players who look uninspired. Clearly there is much interest in when Norwood changes coach, and to whom? Trev has a battery of assistant coaches to help him with his structures, are any of them likely to succeed him? Brodie for one would be keen to take over.

Brodie can get stuffed. He was more interested in walking around prior to the match, and again at half time, walking around with a smile on his face catching up with all his Sturt buddies. Didn't look too concerned with Norwood's plight to me.

... although, come to think of it ... maybe he was just pleased that the senior coaching job at Norwood would soon be available.

Perhaps you are fortunate that geniearses such as yourself didn't say the same 5hit after the magnifcent start to the Yabs SANFL career....56 straight losses! Despite our well documented problems We've won 8 flags to 3 since WWII and our last flag was 11 years more recent than yours. We've been ordinary for a decade, you've been ordinary for the majority of your existence...perhaps it is you girls who should f*** off. :D

We are pretty ordinary at the moment no doubt about it, but we don't lose 56 straight and we don't rack up 8 spoons in a row either. The worst thing about our current state is that we aren't the ones racking up flags in one of Port's rare down eras. In fact, Centrals is the only team cashing in on perhaps the only extended period in SANFL history when Port and Norwood have both been carp.
