More of the people that actually matter in cricket actually believe T20 is cricket, just like ODIs and Tests. Because these views don't conform with people who are not as readily accepting of this change does not mean he will never be taken seriously as a cricketer. Quite the opposite - just like CA take Dave Warner seriously, they will take Tait seriously if he plays a good brand of cricket in the short formats of the game.

Not sure thats what REB would claim to be, or indeed the world he lives in.
Perhaps if you could suggest he expects " Over paid sooks who should pull their finger out their arse and try their best regardless of how bloody hard it might be " then sure, thats REB.
Predictable reply...
Pointless comment...

Say what you like smac but 20/20 will never ever hold the same prestige as Test cricket. Like it or not but cricketers will always be judged on their Test careers and those who have failed at that level will always be seen as inferior to those who have been successful. Tait can make all the money he likes playing in glorified domestic competitions like the IPL but he will never be recognised as anything but someone who could have been a good player. Just ask Nathan Bracken who is one of the best ODI bowlers in the world. How many people rate him as a cricketer and how many people will remember what he has done? At least he keeps trying to reach the ultimate level and doesn't just give up cos it's too hard. He would give up everything he has ever done in cricket to get another chance at Test cricket i reckon.
