SANFL Solar Deal

Postby zipzap » Wed May 27, 2009 7:07 pm

Thought I'd consult the oracle since I don't know much about this kind of thing. But on the surface it seems like a good deal. Is it? Is 1kW enough for a household?

From the SANFL Website -

YOUR FOOTY PASSION CAN SAVE YOU $$$

SANFL signage partner CLEAR SOLAR is offering footy fans a chance to make a difference to the environment - and their wallet - this weekend.
Clear Solar will be displaying its solar power systems at Wayville Showgrounds (Goyder Mezzanine) this May 30-31 weekend between 9.30am and 5pm.

If you are a home owner-occupier in the market for your first solar power system and your taxable family income in less than $100,000, you are eligible for Australian Federal Government $8000 rebate for a 1kW solar power system.

Clear Solar systems usually cost $10,000 but this weekend, this are discounted to $8,150 - simply donate $150 to your favourite SANFL club and get your new system 'free'!

Help support your SANFL club and reduce Australia's carbon footprint.

Remember to bring along a photocopy of your driver's licence, a recent utilities bill and your club membership card.

I understood it a little differently Zipper...

Maybe I am wrong. 4kW is the average household.

You have a chance to win your system free.  ;)
Smile :)

I was under the same impression as Dog_ger that 1KW provides about 25% of a households requirements
these sort of deals are flying around everywhere at the moment, I have seen one in my local paper where a company is getting together with the local council as well
