i will start the mind games now for this week. With victor pumping all their hard earned cash into this season and putting a big emphasis on this week with laying it all on for the older blokes they go into the game with a massive amount of pressure. Surely nothing would be sweeter for the bays than to knock them off on victors home deck infront of all those past players who will be pumping their money into the club. Bays coming off some decent form last week with a good performance agaisnt compass will be looking for the win, with 4 players to return this week i would like nothing more than to get on here on monday and say victor cracked under pressure! bring on the game this week i love it.

No doubt cuzzy that would be a sweet victory for you guys if you can pull it off, 4 back is handy too. Surley Ellis, parker, pitman, fox, parry, brown, topley will all be doing everything possible to get up for the big game also.

If Victor's second quarter against McLaren Vale on Saturday is any indication, they will be very hard to beat come finals. Both Sides were below full strength, yet Victor did appear to have enough depth to cover their out while McLaren Vale had a few that struggled.
Victor's midfield continues to dominate, even with 2 regulars out. Just too strong and quick with their hands for the youngsters from Mclaren Vale.
Big Jagan was good, Joraslafsky looked at home as an on-baller and teamed very well with Ellis and Hodge, who were a class above
Ellis BOG by a mile followed by the other three in the middle.
Loved the pace by the 2 Weetra boys and old Levi just keeps on keeping on. Be good to see young Sam Basham get fitter and work harder to become a force. Whitey still hangs on to the ball a bit much, but does attract a few tacklers.

Not sure but a young McLaren Lad looked in a lot of pain coming off in the first few minutes with either a knee or an ankle

Looking forward to the new guernseys, and hopefully a good win against Encounter Bay.

The team is starting to look very balanced now, with the new boys finding their places nicely. The amount of contested ball that Moore won on Sat was frightening, he was farming out the ball from packs all over the place.

Will be an interesting test against Willunga this weekend. We definitely have the talent to knock them off, it's just whether the side is settled enough yet to upset the seasoned Demons.

Is Simmo trying to keep Ben Moore under the radar this week Ginger or is he just sharing the awards around? On Saturday he was B.O.G. by an absolute country mile but didnt rate a mention in the best??? The Creek midfield dominated from start to finish (which makes me wonder how 3 of our midfielders and a wingman got in our best) and the backline was solid lead by Golding and Norman. Will be a great match this saturday. I am opening up the early betting with Creeks as slight favourite, they can win enough out of the middle and they have the backs to stop Hams. Feast v Steele will be worth the $5.

We had the bye up our way so headed to the creek to check out that game. Not too sure what you're saying about the pies midfield LuvsFooty. There was no doubt that Langhorne had complete control of the game from the beginning and are a fantastic side, but take out Goolwa's midfield and I believe there would've been a record win for the team at the Creek. There were certainly no stand-outs for the pies, but two players for their midfield were without a doubt their better players on the day.

Now Goolwa/Pt Elliot are back to being the magpies would McLaren Vale ever consider going to back to the Crushers or even the Kings as i believe the juniors were once called? at least they are original names, having 2 teams with the same title in a 10 team comp is a bit sh!t :?

I'm surprised that McLaren weren't made to change their emblem as a condition of entering the GSFL. Langhorne Creek were the Tigers prior to joining the GSFL in 1978 and have proudly played as the Hawks ever since.

McLaren Footy Club has also proudly played ....as the McLaren Eagles, since it's inception to the GSFL. (Which was sanctioned and approved by the GSFL Executive of the day)

As a merged club, McLaren has successfully kept the heritage and support from each Club. In doing so each club has lost some individual identity (The Flatties and the Crushers) however we still have a good, stable local footy club for us and our kids to enjoy one of the GREATEST GAMES IN THE WORLD

yeah it was elliott schnieder broken leg right down near the ankle i believe, was having a screw put it in today, will probably be season ending by the sounds of it, not a good a loss for us as he is probably our best player but these things happen and we all hope he recovers fully

the flat were known as the eagles hence why it is the eagles and i was told that the eagles emblems are different between e bay and us, so it wasnt deemed a problem but i sort of have to agree having two eagles is a bit weird especially when playing them, but at the end of the day if thats the worse thing about the league its not doing too bad

Too right limb.
Might not just be on the field. The first time that the former and current Presidents of the GSFL catch up (if indeed they do)

Centre square might be a blood bath with some big bodies in there. Some big match up around the ground
