I agree with overloaded and onthebench to a degree. Sorry MP and NAP you are out of line on this one if you think this is acceptable behavour. Is it ok if 6 of them went an gang banged a chick as well?

What does everyone else think?

its comments like that the people from good sportz would love 2 hear. all clubs need 2 fall into line but the plfl and those reps of the plfl can get publically drunk, get naked and verbally abuse other patrons. and the clubs r funding this! representin you clubs full drunk and no clothes, swearing ya head off, in plfl shirts. its a disgrase and needs action.

good point tiger,

all im saying is this is not a black and white issue, read between the lines. a local side went on a bus trip to whyalla and beat a highly fancied team, they were pumped to knock off their rivals and some blokes celebrated a bit hard, lets move on.
a little slap on the wrists. sure they are representing PL, how will it be come june 6 when we read a headline that says "Eastern Eyre decapitate Diva after dodgy decision in Mortlock", what then?
ban all travelling sides? becuse its bad for our kids?

move on lads

tha problem is that we r gettin the good sportz program rammed down the throat of tha clubz and then the plfl allow and actually help this behaviur. and the clubs have funded this rep side and its officialz 2 the tune of 10 grand. is this wat tha money is spent on fillin the guys full of grog, allowin that behaviur and then sayin move on.all the while takin money from good sportz, and tha responsible service of alcahol.it reaks of double standards. i'm sure the clubs and good sportz will want answers.

Was the loss a reality check for the Blues GG or are we going to blame the wind?

What had happened? Was it ground breaking? Was it earth shattering?

No. Some young Pt Lincoln persons got drunk and acted like fools?

Happens in Sharkies Bar every weekend...

Some young Pt Lincoln persons got drunk and exposed themselves?

There is video footage on youtube of a young drunk Pt Lincoln male exposing himself to another member of the public!

Why is this so offensive? No-one wrote a letter to the editor when Brett Brown streaked at the night cricket! Bluey actually mentioned it in the article!

So if it happens in Sharkys bar it is OK to happen when you are representing Port Lincoln Football League. Great Attitude PLFL. Is what happens at Sharkys Bar the barometer of behaviour?
So you are allowed to 'get drunk and expose yourself' on PLFL trips and 'act like fools' ?
Great example PLFL. complete and utter joke!
And Marble Park trying to condone this behaviour beacause something is on u-tube or someone did a strreak at the cricket... Shame on you. Stand down from the PLFL immediatly.

What I mean bro, is that this happens all the time- every week without fail- and it doesn't grace the paper.

Just because these people played football that day, should that make them any more or less a target?

If you're going to punish one type of person (a footy player), but not another (any random twat that does it), then that is discrimination.

Pathetic response. They were wearing PLFL shirts and had just stepped off a PLFL hired bus with PLFL reps present. Stop trying to compare this with anything else that happens around town you dim-wit. Looks like the PLFL are trying to distance themselves from it to me.

Discrimination =)) =)) . Who are you?

I can see what you're saying MP.

But those other guys aren't getting money for supposedly endorsing good behavioral habits in sport.

I wouldn't call it a disgrace but it's certainly fairly hypocritical and the PLFL should have given the players a run down on what is acceptable and what isn't.

When I played for Whyalla in Mortlock, we were told to enjoy ourselves by all means, but not to bring shame on to the league with our behaviour.

I think we upheld that by keeping our clothes on.
