I see a game wasn't even played and Westies are getting knocked off a bit. Maybe a changing of the guard??

SS I haven't got to a game yet this year apart from the association game, Blues appear to be the team to beat being undefeated at the moment, Westies have lost there games against Blues but beaten the others, will improve as the year goes on and players get off the tractors. Koonibba beat Thevvy first up and took it up to Westies but struggled against Blues they are an unknown and if they get all their players going could do anything. Thevvy have a young side and have struggled but will improve and could take it up to the others if they take them lightly.

Game between Thevvy and Koonibba was called off due to the fatal car accident.

I have just been alerted to a letter to the editor in the rag this morning by a work colaege and I am disgusted by it and can promise you I will get to the bottom of it.
That makes us look really bad. Does anyone know anything about it?

Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!![/quote]

From AdelaideNow:

Police have not released the names of the men killed in the Ceduna crash. The South Australian victims were a 24-year-old Ceduna man and a 17-year-old from Kilburn. The two West Australian victims were a 17-year-old from Coolgardie and a 15-year-old from Norseman. They were all indigenous.

It is understood the men were socialising at a Ceduna home earlier in the night and might have been driving to Koonibba, about 20km northwest of the crash site.

So I was late for work, as I dropped into Liverpool Street Newsagency to get a copy if the Times...

What had happened? Was it ground breaking? Was it earth shattering?

No. Some young Pt Lincoln persons got drunk and acted like fools?

Happens in Sharkies Bar every weekend...

Some young Pt Lincoln persons got drunk and exposed themselves?

There is video footage on youtube of a young drunk Pt Lincoln male exposing himself to another member of the public!

Why is this so offensive? No-one wrote a letter to the editor when Brett Brown streaked at the night cricket! Bluey actually mentioned it in the article!

just commenting on the double standardz on the plfl and CU. plfl footballers behavin badly. doesnt reflect well on the plfl.and u MP as a member on the plfl should stand up and take control, not try and triviallise the situation, specially as part of the good sportz program. is this the type of behavour we can expect from the plfl rep side. spot on bout BB, mayb these people thought it waz so bad they felt they had 2. plfl = double standards.

Sarge's hammy is worse that first expected he looks like missing a month and Toddy has a hip problem. Charman is getting headaches from his concussion last week and Chad is leaving for overseas shorty. Oatway is injured but we should get Toka's back this week. Jarrad D played well in the b grade and will come aswell.
Not looking good for us out here at the moment.

As I was on the bus trip back from Whyalla and saw everything I can say that a few lads went overboard in the end. I wont comment on what happened or mention names as I would not dob teammates in but the main offenders were from the MPFC and TFC in my opinion. Maybe Matt Parks might want to comment on it.
That letter makes the PLFL look like a joke after reading about all this 'good sports' stuff.

Stupid comment "Its nothing"

10,000 people reading about the hooligans in port lincoln footy and then them getting grants for good sports. CU Name and Shame these peolpe then they might not do it again and make us the whole football community look like idiots.
What would parents be thinking with young kids about this letter reading that? I know I dont want my child to be exposed to that behaviour when away representing his City.
Napoleon and PLFL ....As Derryn Hinch would say "Shame, Shame, Shame"

So if it happens in Sharkys bar it is OK to happen when you are representing Port Lincoln Football League. Great Attitude PLFL. Is what happens at Sharkys Bar the barometer of behaviour?
So you are allowed to 'get drunk and expose yourself' on PLFL trips and 'act like fools' ?
Great example PLFL. complete and utter joke!
And Marble Park trying to condone this behaviour beacause something is on u-tube or someone did a strreak at the cricket... Shame on you. Stand down from the PLFL immediatly.

yes overloaded, but this is just the beginning do you actually believe or are you so naive to think nothing will happen on june 6? come on pal, its happened move on and it will only get worse, they won, they celebrated, its done.
did you think the lads would say "or we won nice one lets go back and have an early night, i might do some washing.."
wake up O, get your head out of the sand. it happens and its only gonna get worse.
and it was 1 letter from a citezen, dont base your whole argument on that!
