Tiger- on this forum you're doing to Bostons what RR does to Tasmans...

Give it a rest... it's ONE win...

Our preperation before the game had a lot to do with the result. I looked around the changeroom and could see everyone had come to play. We started well and besides our second qaurter we dominated the game. To do it without Brett was pleasing and we can't wait for the grudge match this weekend against rangers. Tommy and Trent played well in the reserves and will put pressure on us who currnetly hold a league spot, which all goes well for us as we are now starting to get some depth.
Tasmans had a good second qaurter and looked good but they cant sustain it which is their problem.
Cold showers after the game need to be fixed aswell

As far as we know Wes Bilney is now a permanent resident of Port Lincoln LDS

As I officiated at a couple of games on the weekend I am going to make some statements that I want you all to listen to.
1. No Alcahol to be brought into the ground. No alcahol at the carpark end of Centenary Oval. I did notice this also at Ravendale also when I walked the boundry. Glass is not to be brought into the ground. Take notice or you will be removed from the grounds. We will call the police.
2. Abuse/name calling by reserve grade players and supporters from the sidelines toward umpires and other sides better players in the A grade. To see reserve grade/ retired players sledging better footballers from the sidelines with their mates thinking they are funny is a disgrace. What sort of example are you setting to the young kids? Some of these people are business owners and I would love to film them and then after the game say to them, just come and have a look at this or even better set up a TV in their business and play the tape showing the people of port linoln what these peolpe act like. They would be horrified.
Some of these B grade/retired sledgers are/were the most pathetic footballers you will ever see yet they mouth off with their mates bagging good footballers. You know who you are. I am not going to name the 3 clubs who did this but I was at centenary and ravendale and it wasn't the tasman supporters.
If it continues to happen I will name and shame people on here as I dont care. So be warned. Keep it up and I will name you and I will quote your comments on here and make you look like the fools that you are and I dont careif you own a business or not.

Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!![/quote]

I hate the word SS.

Don't get me wrong I like people supporting and cheering their side and a little dissapopintment at an umpires decision is acceptable but when it gets personal thats when I get frustrated. Name calling is not acceptable. This problem was clearly evident to me at both matches.
I will quote the next bad comments next week and I dont care if you are an accountant or what. Say it and get exposed.

sledging happens, at any grade at any football match around the country.
for some it happens in day to day life. for some it happens on this very forum.

it is very hard to police but good luck to you ugly

if you chose to play this great game, you must be prepared to cross the line and into the cauldron of fear. some men rise and some men fall. its a passionate game that brings out the best and worst in people.

but afterall it is just a game

but sledging in life that is different and hard to deal with, but deal with it we must

Personal attacks on players/umpires appearance or playing traits will not be tollerated napoleon. I will personally 'shame' people on here if they continue to do it. I have had enough.
