Crikey mate, a bit harsh, he's probably got the 2nd best record as a state coach next to Mike Nunan in the last 20 or 30 years and his one loss was by a point!

Think we should look towards Michael Nunan himself, or Alan Stewart for the coaching role of the State Team next time around! - Even Fabulous Phil might be one to have a look at!

The way I saw it, SA lost the game due to uncharacteristically poor skills from many of its players. Not sure how Darel Hart could improve on that given the limited training sessions they have.

Just to ad to Mic .We lost because we as a state didnt have enough small fast forwards to crumb at our large forwards feet .

I was enjoying this post - especially about Trevor Hill being discovered for the talent he really isn't. Don't way lay a good story with State coach talk.

Maybe the master coach David Oatey can take over at Norwood - they finally found a way to get him some coaching credibility with the U/16's.

Or maybe he's "too focussed on winning"?

35 people got the right answer - interesting that Norwood would prove to sack their coach before Port who have achieved a lesser result this season. :?

What's more interesting is that more people have voted for him since his sacking!
