I have friends who live in a pretty bad part of Queens, they reckon it was pretty bad when they first got there, but after a while they got used to it and it dosent really bother them anymore.

sam what neighbourhoods do they live in? I rarely go TO queens but i travel through there everyday on the way to work on the train. I go past Shea Stadium and the tennis complex (flushing meadows) and the site of the 64? or 69? worlds fair (whre the end of MIB was filmed).

Katz Deli in SoHo Jimmy. It's actually quite famous if you're into pastrami on rye. You have to go there as part of the NYC experience...

Are the hot dogs and pizza slices all they're cracked up to be?

Dying to have an NY hot dog one day to see what the fuss is all about...

not so much the HD's but the pizza is ******* sensational, get it by the slice and its enough for a meal, well maybe 2 slices, but its great....great cheese and they do a great buffalo and spicey chicken...one thing is you will never starve in this city or eat the same thing twice in the same week (if you eat out 2 times)...

pizza places are like Fish N Chips shops...they are on every corner
