Roger Luders - human highlight reel. Riley should still be ashamed of what he did.
Stephen Nichols - great job in very poor sides.
Grenville Dietrich - pizza, beers and goals. have to admire his preparation.

I just never warmed to Tim Evans in any way, as someone who liked watching good players from other clubs on tv or live, when not playing Norwood. Probably hated Port too much but he also never looked like he seemed to enjoy the game that much, even when Port was winning a lot. Just a teenager's view, but couldn't warm to him, albeit that you were always worried he'd drop eight on you.

Heard today that Roger Luders is in Hospital getting Chemo for some cancer that has been cut out.
Apparently may not be too serious. But we never know

I almost contemplated defecting to Torrens in 87 but was glad I didn't! ;)

Dwayne 4 Russell was on my duffle coat.

A week or two ago at Seaton Ramblers FC for my lads junior footy there was a lady there with a Navy duffle coat on which had a badge sewn to it that read " Football Park - West Lakes" ....?

Grenville Dietrich, I "trained" with him once at The Wellington, finished about midnight, then kicked 10 the next day. Of course that was back in the days when footy was man's game, not this silly basketball played in the AFL.

A blast from the past for myself was while warming up a few weeks back i noticed Chris Lindsey and his kids having a kick at smosh. Chris still looks fit enough to play, dont think we have a gurnsey big enough to fit him.
We're in hell right now gentlemen. Believe me. And we can stay here, get the shit kicked out of us, or we can fight our way back into the light. We can climb outta hell... one inch at a time.

I always recall that poem written after the GF .....

These days down Glenelg way
The Bay tram rarely toots
And somewhere lying in a bin
Are Freddy's yellow boots :)

Nope, Fred Phillis was a great full forward, just glad he didn't have his kicking boots on that day.

I think if you're going to include Hargraves you should include Adam Richardson. Both post-Crows era but Richo kicked many more goals.

I wouldn't have either, nor would I'd have Dietrich. If you do you have to include Fidge.

to me all those players a are good not great.

The only other one I'd consider would be Mandemaker.
