I do believe a report was filed... Was 80m off the ball and has left the young defender with a dislocated jaw. Ugly incident, certainly riled up a few supporters to say the least

No place in footy for this type of incident.
Rub them out for 15 -20 games without hesitation, see what effect that has on the situation, might even cure it!

Fair enough, Supercoach referred to him as a young lad, my bad.

agreed. absolutly brilliant bump from vidic. umpire was right there and didnt even give a free kick. i think it was a very hard hit which just got him in the wrong spot and obviously got hurt. some of th bridgy people werent happy with it yet there was no yelling at the bridgy bloke who smacked kane mclean in the head.

Are we all getting a little carried away with club reports and the like?? Isn't it up to the umpires to sort these things out if they deem fit?? I would hardly say the Central div is known for having many of these instances. I reckon it is more so known as probably the cleanest and fastest comp going around....

I can't coment on the incident as i wasn't at the game but i will say the Hills league does seeem to be a very clean league compared to most others i have seen. However there will always be incidents in football matches and just because the umpire doesn't see them or deem them reportable doesn't mean they aren't.
Personally i believe if a club feels strongly enough to put a report forward then they clearly think that something untoward has happened. The big problem is proving it, video is basically the only way

didn't see the incident either but have seen the video footage & IMO i don't believe there was any malice in the hit. it's just unfortunate that it resulted in him being knocked out, which no one likes to see.

Was he knocked out by hitting the ground or head high contact?

i couldn't say. the video footage is inconclusive on the actual bump.

someone who actually saw it clearly might be able to make comment on whether it was head high contact or not.

I'm not sure how many witness's were there for each side or what evidence was put forward but which part is pathetic?

What did the video show - did they present that at the tribunal?
