Will we be seeing any changes come from training tonight?

there may be somethign good to come out of tnite, A new player (not completely new has played before) may be returning and hopefully cleared in time to play this weekend. A great inclusion and welcome back. I will reveal more tomorow, dont want to name him just incase he doesnt train.

Surely, you need more than a new player to rectify the in-house issues Cuzzy!

this is where things have been reported wrong, the in house issues that keep coming up are news to the players and the guys close to the club. These in house issues seem to be instigated by the guys you see every now and then and not out on the track with the boys etc. Once again its footy melles, happen, i havent heard much about the goolwa / willunga melle! why dont we write crap and carry on for two days about that fight like we have about the bays myponga. To me the only thing that will come out of tnite will be a suggstion to shane by the commitee that the club does not want to be portrayed in a bad way on the field and a simple warning will be issued. This is the third year in a row the A grade players have been interviewed and if its anything like the previous interviews it will be about the indviodal players prerfomrance aswel and not just the coach. Bring on compass

Get a non playing Coach and perhaps follow the example of how Goolwa has turned their club around.

Some good signs at the club re renovations etc

well put magoo!can agree with this totally!

About yime indeed, even willunga would be saying this.
What goes up must go down and having a dominate club like willunga (who will not drop off) keeps our legue strong.
Big turn around at victor, great to see and the creeks are again strong hmmm cant wait for the second round of matches.

I think this 'gap' is a bit of a myth. There really wasn't much between Willunga and Langhorne Creek in the 06 & 07 seasons.

Where have we all of a sudden got this idea that Willunga are coming back to the pack? Because 1 team got within a goal of them? You must remember that in 06 and 07 they didnt finish minor premiers and even in 08 when they did, they suffered one loss but the end result of the last 5 years was a flag. I dont think the stats help us either.

Average For and Against.

06 - 144, 48
07 - 104, 57
08 - 130, 49
09 - 138, 56
You can love football, but it wont always love you back!

Not sure if the squad has been published anywhere, maybe thursdays Times will have it...I don't like the chnces of the Maggies getting Ben Yeomans services this year as he has been selected in the under 20 state team, alongside James 'boofa' Boyd and Nick Fergusson from South. They play the under 18 state side at Prospect this saturday.

I think they normally allow 5 players over the age of 25.

Yes, there are some over 25's picked
No Hams, but one Portlock
Ellis is picked
About five from each club

Dale Ellis has a hamstring and will miss this week and probably next then there is the Association game and will be back against Yank
Fox should play this week, but may take an extra week as Victor is only playing Mclarens
Luke Ellis hurt his shoulder last week and spent most of the game in the forward pocket after that. Not sure on his status.
At least with Ellis out, there is no need to sit an U/17 on the bench to reduce points.
Victor will flog McLaren Vale who were not that good in the first half that I saw at Compass before watching Willunga power over Goolwa/Pt Elliot

I'd say Luke Ellis would have a sore elbow after last week's game as well..
