perhaps bag and sledge/beyond the boundary/fracka would like to comment on this.

using the column beyond the boundary to push a gawler central agenda is not on IMO. no other club gets to run their own agenda.
ben walton has never had a clearance application denied by willaston as he has not even submitted one, but u are right about one thing he is a "donny for life" and if u dont like it take it to the tribunal and see how far u get instead of running a smear campaign. i thort peter argent woul be too professional to allow you to push your own agenda.
we at willaston do not have a problem clearing average footballers to gawler centrals but are hardly going to strengthen ur squad by clearing walton.
by the way i couldnt give a f*** about what i dont know bout brad taylor and neither do 8 other clubs.
so how bout we start seeing some balance in the barracker as i for one will not be purchasing it until it is addressed
bring back media mike

Have to agree with you daysofourlives, Centrals seem to be getting to much media, they should be pulled back into line. Their media coverage should be proportionate to their following. I for one think that my club doesn't get enough exposure. Bring back Media Mike the most respected man in the business.

Maybe The Barracker could use this sort of late mail!!!!

I have to agree with you daysofourlives.

As a beloved Tigers fan i am embarrassed by the ongoing rubbish that is published in the Barracker about Gawler Centrals and the players. Obviously there is a Gawler Central wanna be behind the scenes at the Barracker pumping up his bum buddies.

I purchase the Barracker every week as a neutral publication but unfortunately there is far too much written about Galwer Centrals and not enough about the other 8 teams in the competition. My advise is to leave the funny stuff to the comedians and give the fans the football news it craves. Until the Barracker changes its ways i will not bother collecting one at the gate.

Regarding Ben Walton, why would Willaston clear a guy who is very much going to assist in strengthening the GC list. Willaston are in a rebuilding period and would love to have Walts to nurture there young list, if he isnt going to come to the party then Roger Matz and the rest of the brains trust at the Donnybrooks certainly arent going to do there arch enemies any favours. I wouldnt expect anything less , football is a business and i couldnt imagine that any sucessfull business would just hand over there star performer to the opposition without some compensation.

Very much looking forward to the Gawler Centrals v Willaston clash.

Would love to see another Gawler team in there but just cant see them finishing any higher then Angaston or the dogs. Tanunda and the mighty Tigers will be top 2 , you can put the house on that.

I doubt angastons run will last the season they started this way last year, so this only leaves barossa who will lose their false sense of security against gawler central this week. I see barossa and angaston as keeping it interesting, but thats about all. We'll know more when everyone has played each other once.

This year is still young and open wider than a turkish call girls legs right now, injuries or swine flu can cripple anyones chances at any time and south are feeling that right now. The underated donnybrooks can slip into the top four after this round, but you never know in these local derbies.

I hear rumblings that big bad ben walton is a chance to be back in the red and blue which will give the donny's more options as well as the possibility they could be filling their 3rd import spot with another forward before the june 30 cutoff.

Amen! Beyond the Boundary is a f****** joke.
Yep that book has turned to absolute s***t.. their so called local footy experts have got many predictions far from reality...

the nob who writes that beyond the boundary should be made redundant effective immediately, would rather see netball pictures than those s***t attempts at humor only serves to make it obvious that a social spastic writes the stuff who is well out of touch with his audience.
I have to agree that there is alot of Gawler Central's stuff going into this article each week but to call someone a social spastic is plain stupidity at it's best. Yes you can have an opinion but taking it to extreme here one thinks. I also agree surely there are people at other clubs who can give infomation out if the right sources are contacted. Also i have no problems looking at netball picture but more I THINK NOT.

Just read the 'Beyond the Boundary' column and read your article on the Best Defenders in the BLG.
1. Brad Valentine
2. Andrew Prior
3. Jason Wozniak
4. Darren Sharp
5. Shaun Childs
6. Stewart White
7. The rest of the Tanunda defence
8. Ben Klemm
9. Ross Christie

I thought this was a fairly good list, although i thoguht you mkissed a few noticeable absentees. I thought Jarrod Tregenza from Nuri would make the top ten, however the biggest name missed is this follwing name: Although his team is stryuglling at the bottom of the ladder, but surely STEVEN EICHNER is in the top two defenders in the league as well as Valentine.
