St. Pauls vs SHOC: 20-31 points St to keep their winning form going & push for a top 2 finish
Ovingham vs Henley: 100 + points, Sharks too strong here.
Athelstone vs Flinders Uni: 50-61 points Raggies will cook the Crabs in this one at home.
Houghton vs Angle Vale: 20-31 points Raiders to christen their creekless oval will be tough game for both teams .
Adelaide Uni vs North Pines: 10-21 points. Home ground being the key here for Uni

Was just informed of a comment made on this mornings radio. Not sure word for word but it goes something like this:
"Adelaide Uni C Grade is a shambles but it would take a natural disaster for them to lose to Nth pines"
Apparantely come out of the mouth of an Adelaide Uni person.
This statement will be used for sure to rev up the boys in the A grade.

I have only listened to it once and that was last week when our A grade coach was on there. Last week they started speaking about div 7 about 8:15. Not a fan of the show personally think the blokes on it dribble sh!t.

A pretty sad day for our b grade yesterday not scoring and only having 15 players. Unfortunately have an injury list of 30 players at the moment doesn't help. Still no excuse thought the a grade could still have won. Myself and bigshow will keep plugging away and hopefully that first win is just around the corner.

5 from 5 this week, with all the favourites winning.

The inform Saints grinded out a win against the much improved SHOC at Mawson 'There goes another plane' Lakes. Although it was SHOC who came out hard in the first quater slamming on 4 unanswered goals while the home team still had it's 'Snooze' button on. For the visitors. Joseph Oliveri was picking up a heap of touches around the midfield while big Cameron Carroll was proving a danger up forward. Enter Ivan Novosel who single handedly brought St.Pauls OS back into the game after kicking his sides first two majors. SHOC though still had the upper hand from it's great start and held a small lead at the long break. The 'Premiership' quater was the defining factor of the match, as the Saints despite kicking against the breeze, took the lead which they never relinquished. 'Captain Courageous' Lachlan Kennett was back to his best for the Saints and showed some of his form that had him 'Runner up' in last years Div 7 Medal. Ingle Farm recruit Daniel Barbulovic and former Kadina player Kane Zilm played their best games in the Saints colours. Novosel ended up with a lazy 9 goals, and it was no coincidence that the Saints best 2 from 2008 (Kennett and Novosel) played a large part in the Saints come from behind win. Riddler will be pleased with the 2 points, but not the slow start, while the young SHOC have improved considerably from last season and would be looking for a Top 5 finish.

Great day at Houghton yesterday, the ground packed out yet again, the hill brimming with supporters and two good wins for us. However, the real game was played out on the sidelines with the good-natured sledges bouncing between the two camps - funny stuff. Credit to the AV lads who never gave up and could manage a laugh at the raucous crowd.

Yesterday was a good showing by the Ovingham lads. we came out and kicked the first three goals then the intensity dropped and a couple errors cost us as we went into 1/4 time down by less than a kick. the second quarter Henley got on top early then we settled the ship and were down at half time by about 3 goals and still in with a good shot. the third term we again matched Henley and if we had have used the ball better moving forward we could have pegged a couple back. the last quarter was very interesting, the first 20mins went ok and if the match stopped then it would have been only 6-7 goals as the end margin. as it was the final quarter went for 45mins!!! now that's gotta be a record, don't know exactly what happened but it did and Henley ended up with 11 goals for the quarter... balooned the result to what it was. although pleased with our efforts, unfortunately effort alone doesn't win matches of footy!

Sounds like it was a good effort by the boys for most of the game. The 18 goals Klompy kicked for Morphies today would've got you over the line no worries.

I love the oval up there its nearly like the whispering wall no need to shout because a normal convo can be heard from the other side of the ground you could have only twenty people watching the game having a good old fashion sledge bouncing round the ground the whole day.
