Was it a wedding or a Church Service? ;)

Had about 3 key position players out this week and 2 midfielders, all walk up a graders. Not an excuse because we were very poor in the first half.
Most should be back this week which will help.

Can't remember the last time Bridgy beat Uri's. Maybe it was early 2000's at Bridgewater. I don't think we have beaten them at Uraidla for a long time.

But either way, Uri's by 6 or 7 goals I think.

i wish. the oval size makes no difference to my game. i just get worn out quicker cause we have to do a longer warm up lap at uri. the warm up lap at bridgy is only 200 metres.

toot toot, the larger ovals suit your free flowing game however.

I quite like toot toots game at bridgy. He oozes arrogance by having a bounce on the back flank. it's beautiful to watch much like the plastic bag in American Beauty from a few years back.

Looks like another long day for the Roos this weekend with another 3 injuries from Saturday. All should be 4-6 weeks. Testing times for us as we have to wait until next week when 7 are due to return. At training tonight there were more A's in the trainers room than out on the park, 12 all up.
Lofty by a shite load this weekend, will be a disappointing day considering the reunion of the 59 (A+B's),69 (A+B's) and 79 (A) Premiership teams will be happening throughoout the day and night.

On another note, some plans for the new ovals have been drawn and should be confirmed within the next few weeks, subject to council approval of course! Will paste a link when they are available.

What's the goss on the new oval JB? I heard Mt Ronnie have been saving their pennies for years and are looking at getting two new ovals approved(one playing and one training oval) over next to the golf course, is this true? If so when is it all likely to happen? Is Grainger still the planning manager out there at The Ron? Good luck trying to reason with that bloke!

Definately have the land, council have purchased 88 acres. From there we have submitted plans for a main oval and then a smaller oval more for colts and training, yet still bigger than bridgy and bankers ground. There is 8 netty / tennis courts and a big cricket net area. The function centre will hold around 350 people seated.
As for the grandstand that will hold around a 1000 with there being 4 major changerooms, just larger in size to the woods home rooms with 2 trainers rooms the size of woods opposition changerooms. The plans that I saw last week had been forwarded to council but I haven't heard when or if they are going to be approved first time.
As for Grainger I'm not sure don't have much to do with the planning, just get to see some plans every now and then.

TOD you are dreaming if you think that side would even come close to the Central Hills side. Must agree with you Bat PAd on this one.

so what would the Hills Central side looks like? I know birdwood would contribute M.Krieg, R.McGahey maybe G.Dempsey... S.Friend perhaps? realistically i think the hills central would get up over the country team by close to 10 goals.

Sounds fantastic, although it is well overdue. The 350 seat function centre sounds interesting, i would presume that it would be run by someone other than the football club. You'd hope that it wouldn't be the clubrooms where players have a beer and a meal after the game, that would have less atmosphere than the blackwood clubrooms!

Having said that it sounds as though onkas will be relegated down the pecking order as the show piece of hills football which is great for the comp. I hope it's up and running before i hang up the boots.
